Ben playing 12.0 last couple of days, noticed most leopard 2 models front ammo rack is not reacting to penetrating round, round just goes through the rack like its not there… Cam anyone confirm this?
If there’s nothing in the rack to detonate it won’t detonate, many players at this br often don’t take full ammo loads to clear hull racks for that reason.
As always it’s better to provide replay evidence instead of just here say. Makes for a better case
nah… i’m talking about full ammo racks and round goes through it like it’s not there, other people in chat reporting same thing…
As said above, at that BR most people wont have ammo in that rack at all. The first stage is kept in the back of the turret and has plenty for most of the fights that will happen so that is all they bring to keep that front rack clear.
Unless the person in the Leo says that there is ammo there, there usually wont be ammo there. People grow to have a habbit of shooting the ammo rack in the front in lower Leopard variants where there is no other place they are stowed, later variants will 99% of the time not have any, but the rack is instead still there just empty so it appears like it is bugged
Do you have a replay of where it happened to you?
no replay, WT DX12 doesn’t work with nvidia shadow play…
So visual representation on ammo sitting in ammo rack doesn’t mean it’s there?
You can find the server replays on the main website here: ( Gaijin Entertainment - Single Sign On )
Just check the box at the bottom “Replays including my participation” to search for your most recent matches. When you find it there is a “Copy the replay link” button so that you can paste a link directly to the replay here on the forum.
That way it can be viewed in-game with full player controlled camera and sensor views.
Any test drive replays? that should be easier to record
No evidence posted.
Active claims without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.
Keep in mind, all Strv 122s and the 2A7s have a spall liner infront of the ammo rack
in addition, the 122s have the rack slightly higher up to better avoid LFP shots
