Leopard-2 and Abrams got nerfed too much

Basicaly when i play leopard, every penetrtion makes me disabled and i can’t do anything about enemy trying to kill me. I think it would be better if the traverse would’nt become black from first penetration, but becoming red and slowing turret traverse speed, in this case leopard’s and abrams’s would be much more playable than they are right now

Usually I’d make fun of the leopard and abroomz players, but this nerf was kinda sad. The Abrams suffers a lot as it is from gaijin’s negligence already and really didn’t need this change at all. On the other hand the Leopards have spall liners and amazing armor schemes, they kinda needed a nerf like that. However I gotta say, making the turret basket floor the damage model is stupid, that thing literally ain’t gonna effect the turret traverse man. If someone shoots really low they really shouldn’t be rewarded for it.

The other vehicles have same functionality. If they hit it will disable it. It was a entire ground nerf

Actually gaijin does this, so that unskilled players that don’t know weakspots would get kills more often, and i hate the fact that gaijin makes everything for new players so the skilled ones would suffer :\

They dont actually. The ones that currently do not have a module it is only the thin part on the top that displays horizontal aiming drive. The ones that have been on Russian vehicles all this time are two seperate modules. The big round part is the autoloader and not the HAD. The thin part on top of that on the Russian vehicles is the horizontal aiming drive like all the others that dont have a autoloader excluding all abrams and leopards. BIG difference and not to mention the Abrams also has the hydraulic pump that that takes out horizontal aiming drive when damaged as well which we have had before this update. They conveniently placed it right at our weakest spot on the side with under 50mm protecting it.

Abrams didn’t need any new nerf. It was already one of the worst top tier MBT.

The change is just frustrating. The most random penetrations just knock out the horizontal drive. If the vehicles were too good just move them up in BR, don’t make them stupidly frustrating to play.

make basket, horizontal/vertical driver, turret ring, autoloaders, any module that isnt crew or electronic immune (or way more tough) to spall damage and you fix good part of the problem.
