It needs to buffed. First solution could be moving Leo to 7.7 and reduce it’s HP by 80 therefore making it less agile. Second solution could be making it more maneuverable by increasing it’s turrets traverse speed faster hor.: 22min 27.5max instead of 18.5min 24max, ver.: 4.4min 5.5max. In addition buffing reload rate by 0.5 sec. Third solution could be moving Leo 1A1 to 8.7 and making it be researched from the Leo 1 while only buffing it’s turret traverse like I proposed in the second solution while keeping the reload the same.

the LEO A1A1 9.0 not L/44 does suffer theres just straight up better variants at same br all they have to do is take its dart and make it 8.3 the regular A1A1 at 9.0 is buns
the 8.0 leo 1 tho does suffer cause its 8.0 as they all stink as they fight stab tanks with no way of winning other than camping
6.3 shell at 8.0 just beecause its German^^ Armor profile is worse as well, the Israeli Sherman at least can’t be killed by 12.7mm (cal50).
Leopard is just bit faster than M-51, but this hardly warrants BR 8.0. Its not like its an M-18 with 90km/h top speed.
A fair BR would br 6.7, if th e M-51 is 6.3. Armor is worse. Firepower etc idential. Speed is better. Yeh…so 6.7 would be logical. But not 8.0.

What??? Leopard 1 is more than a bit faster (65 km/h vs 38 km/h in M-51) is close to the double.
Personally i dont think the Leo 1 belongs to 8.0 when for example Italy have a better leo 1A2 at the same BR or things like Magachs with reactive armor or some Soviets/Chinese tanks with stabz. stay at 8.0.
7.7 sounds fair for me. Italy have the M47 with L/7 gun at 7.7 and nobody complain about that but move the Leo 1 to 6.7 is insane.
The Leopard 1’s problem is the same as practically all BR8.0 tanks: it faces the BR8.7 and BR9.0, which in many cases are unbalanced compared to the BR8.0. The BR8.0 has many features like APDS-FS and laser rangefinders, and some even have thermal imaging. A major redesign of the BR8.0 lineup is needed, adding tanks in between with reasonable performance for their BR8.0 class.
L7 APDS isn’t a 6.3 shell.

They are nearly identical, the a2 just has an slightly better armoured turrent, not really much of a difference
Is a great improvement over the original turret. And can be the difference between be destroyed/disable or not specially against auto cannons.
Between both tanks all people with common sense are going chose the Italian one over the German mainly for this reason.
Only really changes againts 20mm apds, and even then not really enough of a difference to justify a lower br

Sure, i hate germany so much and i have such a bias against them that i have spaded every tank under 8.0… yeah buddy. Or maybe is it because i have actually play it and it was pretty good even with the ass german teams on my side.
