Also i have better results with Centurion shooting 84mm on stab than with M60 without it. So ig its about the way one plays?
That’s why I say it’s personal, because each player plays in a different way, and many get used to a certain type of play, so there are other tanks that don’t work as well for them.
In my example I used both tanks together, so both faced the same enemies. The difference is that with the Magach 3 I was in ambush positions and shooting from long range, while with the Shot Kal Alef I advanced further, allowing me to take more risks thanks to the stabilizer.

What’s the leo 1’s role anyway? Yes I know people say to use it as a light tank, but what makes it a better light tank than say, an OF-40? It’s kinda stuck in a place where it can’t snipe as well as an IKV or OF-40, can’t flank as well as a 906 or even arguably a DF105, etc.

shoot and scoot buts difficult with no stab but every 8.0 MBT from M60 to T54s have this problem especially since you fight many STAB tanks
I mean. i believe its at its BR. 8/3 is okay considering its low protection and lack of APFSDS.
TURM III has some pretty clear advantages over the Leopard 1, so I don’t think they should be only a single BR step apart and no, Leopard isn’t a 7.7 vehicle.

Leopard is 8.0 vehicle but the entile 7.0-9.0 shoud be reworked and decompressed
TURM III definitely has to go to 8.7.
It simply bullies 8.0s and 7.7s and is basically vastly superior to most 8.0s.
It has weirdly high stats on SS.

and it is garbage to play against 8.7s. Like cmon the Leopard 1s cannon ammo isnt any good by itself, and the you propose to make him to get used to play against T-62s and Onj 140s, Chieftains, Type 88s, late M60s by default? And then occasionally meet the 9.7s?
What’s so bad about L77 cannon so it can’t share the same BR as T-62 ?

5s reload for Leopard 1 is long overdue.
Same with M48.
Both have hardly any advantages against what they have to fight these days.
And the M48 is just a 90mm gun in the turret the size of a Leopard 1.
ehhh theyre pretty much the same mobility. of40 has a top speed of 60 with a reverse of 24 with a hp/t of 19.3, while the leopard 1 has a top speed of 65, a reverse speed of 25 with a hp/t of 20.8.
these two tanks are practically the same, specially when we bring up the fact the leopard 1 acceleration got nerfed hard some time ago where now it struggles to get going.
If you’re gonna shoot and scoot the OF40 is just as fast with a LRF.

The Turm is extremely strong at it current BR. Just because shit player bought the premium and hoping it will win game on it own doesn’t mean it is bad. Literally non of the 8.3 can’t stand against it , even some of the 8.7 are worse than it. It could be 9.0 and be completely fine lol.
it really doesnt seem that strong to me honestly quite easy to kill and its only menacing feature is its 30mm other than that its standard for the br range should be 8.7 but nothing game breaking still basically made of paper arguably less op AT ITS BR than the SOUMA SM at 7.7 in my opinion but cause its french no one talks about it
But it got good mobility and gun handling lol , it forcing you to actually learn map and positioning better. Which if you are somewhat decent at both Turm can just wipe the floor. Armor is such a non issue when you realize that you can farm 90% of the stuff from 8.0 and above just by doing good at those two.
Also you can flank if the map and the match allow it. Of course the thing suck if you keep trying to gun sizing with the enemy and die. It is not the british chally where you can’t do anything because you are fat and slow lol. Turm can be great if you bother to read map and learn the flow of the battle, if you can learn that on Turm then literally everything else is easy to play upward cause Top tier ground have one play style. Then again can’t expect puppies to do anything cause no armor = bad clearly , if they can’t auto pen/auto bounce in their MBT must be bad.
But well thread about Leopard 1 and the thing is fine , just learn with it lol.
