Addon frontal and turret side armor and much better gun mantlet. And probably no movlity nerf you can find in Germany Leo 1.
If you add premiuns germany is better thanks to the clovis. But only using TT?? i prefer the italian one.
I played Italy 8.0 in friend account and you are usually teamed with USA and Soviets menwhile Germany mainly play alone.
It’s an awesome 8.0 tank. Good ammo, great gun, rangefinder and fantastic mobility.
Just don’t brawl in it, and you can get a ton of kills.
Klingon Tigers already suffer enough
Whats a “Klingon” Tiger?
tbh the player base issue stems from gaijin shitty setup for the germans where you have a massive (one of the largest tbh) BR gap and on top of that you go from a lineup of heavy, slow moving vehicles with armour to fast moving vehicles with no armour, and those two things royally fuck germans until 9.3.
also doesnt help german 8.3 and 8.7 doesnt really exists without using premiums.
Around BR 8.0 are also alot crazy autocannon racing vehicles. SPAA, recon cars etc. While the german Leopard with its inertia nerf isn’t really that mobile. So it gets hardcountered. Speedy vehicles with autocannon brrpping on the move vs. unstabilized heat fs in an unarmored gen1 MBT…
i mean that doesnt help, but other nations deal with the same problem.
the fact of the issue is german players by 8.0 have zero skill from the tech tree to properly use mobile tanks to their advantage, so they suffer massively. its the reason why i personally keep harping on the fact germany does need a rework to a degree, i love their lower tier stuff but the fact by 5.0 its nothing but heavy, unmobile monsters reinforce a playstyle that its a determent long term really we just need mediums and light from 4.0 to 8.0 and it will slowly help fix the german problem.
its the same BR as tanks as tanks from the early to mid 1950s
to its historical peers. which it can fight just fine, you have a really good gun and unmatched mobility by anything that isnt a CVRT or similar
holy skill issue the 105mm APDS is really damn good, it pens almost everything no matter where you shoot and does strong post pen damage. You do also get a competent HEAT-FS shot.
lol the bradley underperforms and the busmaster sucks. the T-10 is free food for a 105mm, the T95 is average
and see tiger 2 in downtiers and be the same BR as tanks from 1949 such as centurion mk3 and T54 1947?
GET OUT LMAO
oh god not again
The basic Leo 1 without LRF and stablizer is a bit painful when you compare it with OF40 or Type 69 but not worse than the T-54 and Type 59 family. It still has good mobility and gun depression.
I think that the problem with the Leo 1A1 at 9.0 is even worse, since it still doesn’t have LRF at 9.0, a battle rating at which most vehicles have been equipped with LRF (the only exception might be the T-64A(1971)).
the humble neverending streak of urban CQC maps:
It’s strange how much Gaijin loves maps with head-on close-quarters combat.
I suffer more with OF40 honestly. Maybe its because worse crew but i have troubles aiming it :/
type 59 literally has stab. Its superior by definition
is it? It makes matches fullfilled with action so its obvious why they love them
them break legs to nearly all the tanks, yet neither have such problems as germans…
the turm 3
maybe try a non pay to win version?
there is also the Kampfpanzer Leon which is a germano-italian MBT project predating the OF-40
only 1 proto was made
More than the stabilizer, I’d prefer the Type 59 because of its somewhat buggy armor, which often stops bullets that should penetrate them, or if the driver or some module is penetrated, it absorbs the damage, leaving the gunner unharmed.
Personally, the stabilizer is certainly an advantage, but it’s not a game-changer. You just have to play more conservatively, in ambushes and at long range. For example, I played with the Magach 3 and the Shot Kal Alef together, and I had better results with the Magach 3, even though it didn’t have a stabilizer and had a relatively inferior bullet (I say “relatively” because the M728, despite being better, gave me worse results than the M392A1).
