Leopard 1 is way too weak at 8.0

Yes, the stock grinds for the Chieftains were more pleasant than expected! I hardly had problems one-shotting things with the APDS. Great post-pen damage for what it is.

Still think Leopard 1 without stab is simply too vulernable to autocannon vehicles.

Small maps, short line of sight, most maps really promote autocannon vehicles. 70mm pen is already enough to decisively cripple Leopard 1 hulls, much less from the side. Single shot maingun without stab also means you need to stop for an aimed shot or gamble to hit. That means before you even stopped to shot you got already sprayed and crippled.

Most players know that. Just no secret that they spam out things like the classic ZSU-57-2 etc. Suddenly whole map is swarned with more or less mobile brrrp vehicles which simply brrrp Leopards out of fast movement.

While other nation’s Leopard 1 derivatives getting carried by their own autocannon vehicles, Germany just has nothing like this @ TT. The Wiesel with 68mm flat pen at 0m lacks some deciding mm penetration to be effective. So there is nothing. Maybe adding the German ZSU-57-2 would improve things. They operated over 100 of these and two rapid firing 57mm cannons with 150mm penetration would definetly improve things on most map types. Leopard 1 carried by at least one metavehicle for smaller maps, would improve its WR imho.

It would be better if they buffed it and moving Leo A1A1 should be rank 5 8.7 vehicle could be optionally researchable from Leo 1. This would buff the german tech tree over all.

Why make this sort of rude comment?

Didn’t we go over this earlier? Flat pen doesn’t matter and Dm13 only has like 1% better flat pen, look at angled pen buddy

Huh 347mm of pen is worse then 336mm of pen now? Intresresting.

Going to ignore what you said?

The DM13 shell, on paper, pens about 1% more than DM23 best case scenario at point blank range with no angling. The moment you turn the enemy tank 10 degrees and that plate goes from perfectly flat to a 10 degree slope, DM23 will have better pen. Not only that, even in FLAT pen scenarios where you are shooting at a Tiger 1 style tank with NO angling, dm23 is always more likely to go through due to not having the shattering mechanic and because it has better flat pen beyond 1000m too…

Is there a reason you’re being overly hostile and insulting?

Thank you for starting to contribute to the conversation.

This is an incorrect statement.
Lets actually discuss how the german tech tree should look for ranks 5-7.

I said the same thing in different words a long time ago and you ignored it. If you want to insult me that’s fine I can probably think of worse

Oh boy can’t wait
