in general, i dont even know what the people calling for “nerfs” are thinking. As much “bullshit” gajin sometimes makes. The game is still considered a “semi-realistic” game and every nerf or buff has to be coupled with sources, there is no just lowering armor or similar. They only balancing factors are reload, which doesnt matter with leo and their strong penetration going for 1hit KOs.
And BR balancing which doesnt matter either, all 11.7 would get sucked into matches with it either way as well.
They scream and whine around, but their literaly is nothing gajin would do /effect that would make the tanks “balanced” at this point
And oh yeah, any gun nerf would hit the poor Challenger 3 TD as well now, they share the same system
Gaijin doesn’t actually care about realism anymore it seems, they just sort of nerf and buff what ever they want then justify why or why not later with the notion they’re making it more realistic

You are mistaking the entire point. This game isnt remotely semi-real this game isnt even remotely semi factual they took an entirely different tank the m1 abrams “m1 kvt” and made it a 105 when in reality it was a 120mm gun and an entirely different variant of the tank. So i dont want to hear semi realism or historically accruate about anything to do with this game. Because once again if this were true the USA would be the best nation in the game by miles the biggest and best military in the world. Yet in this game its literally prolly the second worst behind the italians and thats saying alot. So yes an artifical nerf to the breach. Thiers no damn way that breach should be that good. Im just sick of people claiming accuracy and what is true when this company follows no rules but thier own and have the tank nerds going crazy about information they have no clue to be true. Everything is classified…this is an insane arguement. Lastly take for instance the once again the Abrams does gaijin really believe the USA would spend billions on an obsolete tank? That coudnt tank a shot from the best tanks in the world? What tree of stupid did these people fall from? If they really believe the Abrams which has been in service for 40 years that they havent adressed every little issue any modern mbt could throw at them including the best shells in the world. Man, almost like a gigantic budget won’t magically make you the best at everything (Israel developed the best APS in current service, Germany developed the best IFV in current service [likely also the tank], etc etc…).

We still are missing our best ammunition. Dont forget germany is the leading country in cannon design, hell the Abrams cannon is a variant of the german L/44.

2 Find some document that says the Leopard 2A7V has no spall liner or lacks armour or something like that but considering the tank in game is based of Swedish trials from the 90s you not gonna find anything to make it worse
3 Nerf it what ammo it carries or reload which isn’t happening

Benefits of the worlds most exportet tank series, its just pretty much damn well known and its benefits and propably is the most accurate mbt because of that in the game (ignoring russians for other reasons)
yeah they cant nerf the round or change it, because then it would be to weak and reload would effect the 2A4-2A6 as well, which all dont have anything to do with 2A7Vs strengths, not starting with the poor Challenger 3 TD, which finaly is at least benefiting from a good gun
to that i say, is it so wrong that the ground tree is a bit weaker, when they have the best air one of all nations?
so instead of trying to get the abrams buffed you try to nerf other tanks in an artifical way cuz you dont know how to aim at the weakspots of such tanks, man french mains have thier own post just to fix the leclerc and they are actually trying to meanwhile you come here and try to get something nerfed cuz of your lack of skill in the game jesus christ

Thing with TD i find the gun alone is not enough for me
I prefer the black night with its APS and faster reload then the TD
Funny enough Abrams reload is now better then the Challenger due to the abrams massive ready rack
i think its more of a line up thing, black night, TD and then the 2E, before that Britain was lacking in “viable” challenger options

Yeah im waiting for the next CR3 prototype should have an APS it will be interesting when they add but ifv we need first same with most nations
that thing was discussed when they initialy announced it, problem with the APS version we saw it was only attached as a demonstration. It wasnt in a working condition and those wont be implemented, we would need to wait until a new CR3 gets shown, like at the Eurosatory maybe? which i doubt since challengers arent export tanks

Im half thinking they have given up and just gonna stick a Leo turret on it but who knows
at that point they can just order a whole 2A8 and possibly join the MGCS programm, i definitly would prefer the brits over the french as partners

For now only a redesigned turret and uprated engine i guess it depends on how expensive makimg the turret will be
