I’m excited to see this! Luckily there are still multiple chances that another KV-8 variant can be added as a tech tree vehicle as well!
Not the only ones to this, just waiting for the day patiently but sure give me another KV in my lineup

All of these Shermans would be awesome to see in game. Just throw boxes and random logs all over it along with sand bags to make the tank look lived in.

@lolhalorocks-live It would be cheaper if it wasn’t Premium however most lower tier event vehicles are Premium, I assume Gaijin just put higher point requirement as excuse.
Fill a line-up with:
- one light vehicle that you can scout,
- one or two main best vehicles you’re good with,
- one airplane for close air support with good payload,
- one anti-air vehicle with good anti-tank capability.
Always start the match with the worst vehicles you have/the light tank to scout, if you’re good on close air support both evading enemy anti-air vehicles and tossing bombs at target with precision after your first death hop on said airplane, when you die go to your following worst vehicle until you get your best for better use of the vehicles during a match, if you get around 2 000 points per match you should have enough to finish one star in a day.

I am definitely doing this event.
I saw this and immediately my Spotify Playlist started playing Red Alert 3 Soviet March lol.
USSR also had a lot of vehicle versions and prototype to if Gaijin is planning to give out event vehicles USSR is safer then risk using a vehicle and the main tree of lets say Germany not having something to stand on.
Flame vehicles will be a must for infantry mode.
I would say careful with that kind of thing, its a fair bit insulting to those that went through a lot of suffering fighting Germany too on other fronts/under occupation/on the seas which saw massive casualties (British merchant navy for example which did a lot of supply runs for the Russians… yeah…)
Also, the Russians have had every single VE day event I think when it comes to vehicle additions? It isnt too much to ask for something for others imo some time, even as something alongside it (same can be said about VJ day constantly being the Americans and Chinese with the Forgotten Army forgotten every time).
edit: also, KV8 looks to be a great fun tank to see, very much a positive event tank. Just a shame its 30k a pop on the stars.

FYI here is the German version of the FOG mine the Abwehrflammenwerfer 42 which is a one for one copy with some small changes for production and simplistic manufacture though it was a already simple weapon.
Usually mixed in with other mines and under barbed wire would be command detonated or triggered by tripwires.

If you would like to do this yourself on the forums, click the Calendar icon at the top of the reply/edit window:
Then, change the time zone to GMT (Type in GMT, scroll down until you see the plain GMT option):
Click the appropriate Date on the calendar, then type in the time listed for the event. You can also do the same for the box labeled “until” so that both start and end date and time are shown at the same time in your reply.
Click “Insert” and it will insert the code into your reply like I have above.
Code should look like this:

You can also use “Size” and “Bold” formatting, which is what I usually do to make the time+date display a little bit more noticeable:

I advise not going above size 5 or 6 as it gets far too big and obnoxious.
