Legend of Victory: KV-8

Didn’t all event vehicles used to be premium before the new system?

It’s an “Event Vehicle” if it says “Event vehicle” in the stats card - otherwise it is not

I dont’ think so - low level ones tend to be, but higher level ones are not

Has nothing to do with my comment, I am talking about how Russia always without fail gets VE day event vehicles, while no other nation has a dedicated event specific to their nation which gets vehicles every year and at best, share with others (D-Day) for a vehicle and often more so just a decal.

And yes, all event vehicles used to be premiums back in ye olde days. Gaijin changed this after the IS 7 IIRC being obscenely powerful.

No

So

Russia recieves an entire day only to itself and an event vehicle in those days without fail.

While other nations have to compete with each other for 1 day and thus, can’t reliably recieve event vehicles.

And China is the corpse in the closet.

The solution would be for every allied nation to recieve their own special day

Are you going to pay each dev to make these vehicles?

Also, if there is that many overlapping events, it would be hell.

Lastly, the summer, winter, and other events likely would no longer be a thing.

Are going to drop another horrible take? Play another nation apart from USSR pal

Developers make money for events by having people skip them with ge, infact the more events the greater the chance to people to pay, specially if clustered close on the calendar.

Lmao, is that all you ever say? “Horrible take” just because you disagree doesn’t mean I am incorrect.

Secondly, best check my profile, I’ve played very little of Russia as of late. And I will never be offended by playing a nation I like, and trying to bully someone because of that is pitiful.

Lastly, no, they make more $$$ with more consistent players as well as events. If you burn out players, then less events are played, and people care less.
It’s the butterfly effect.

And just because you disagree with him doesnt make you right, lol. Because your take is very much bad on that 1 in my view too, immediately jumping the shark for the “worst case scenario”.

We already lose a rolling event putting the USSR only event in, why not just do that for others too? Make 1 event per year that is dedicated to each nation, with a rolling event between those. No need to add more, just literally copy-paste what we do for the Russian only VE day, and the Allies only D-Day events.

It would also mean we get events for minors more consistently too and not have “years” waiting for some to finally get a piece of the pie over “next t-72/80 for Russia or light tank/attacker for the US”.

Sometimes my genius is truly frightening I guess.

Uh huh. And what event would you make for Germany during WW2 genius?

And as it is right now, a lot of nations do get a single event a year, sometimes some nations get double.

Britain actually gets the most from what I recall, but it rotates, there is seemingly no real “set” way they do it, it’s like they take a raffle and pull a vehicle, without trying to do back to back same nation vehicles.
It’s like how they don’t do a lot of naval vessels because not a ton of people play naval.

Japan has been eating rather good as of late, with the BP’s and events. They’re getting tons of really good naval vessels.

So yes, if anyone’s take is “bad” it’s yours and his, because you both are looking at one aspect of an whole image.

If you read above, I explicitly pointed out how it doesnt have to be a WW2 event… in multiple replies in this thread.

When has Japan gotten an event tank? Or Israel? Last Sweden has what, 3 years back i think?

They do an even number of naval vessels outside of events like this kicking them back IIRC. Its supposed to go tank plane boat, tank plane boat or something like that.

BPs and events, BP is its own side thing though, and only really a mid BR zone and has gotten kind of meh (and IIRC the Japanese BP vehicles are all low tier?).

As for “one aspect” literally what you are doing by going “but what WW2…” when my comment literally states end of cold war/post cold war event vehicles too, lol.

Taking away the D-day event, where all western allies compete to recieve 1 event vehicle

All other celebrations are just 1 stinky box of decals or a decoration.

Japan has gotten plenty of event planes, and a good sum of event tanks.

That’s just your narrow perspective.

Stop thinking the way you are, because your warping reality for yourself.

It’s like saying “German bias exists” without and credible information

This is all pure fiction. If you could actually back your claims, it would be up for discussion.

Also, on the flip side of “USSR having one dedicated event” as you say, that also means they are less likely to be featured in other events.

To add to that, you do understand the USSR made thousands and thousands of prototype vehicles right? Literally the most in the world…

But hey, just continue to ignore the facts, and continue to spout that nonsensical “he’s pushing an agenda” lie.

I think for myself, which clearly isn’t happening for all forum members.

Think about this. Nation popularity. That’s typically what decides which nation gets picked for event vehicles.

Over the last 5 years, USA has gotten about the same amount of vehicles as Russia, followed by Germany, Britain, etc
Israel has the least.

How many stages are expected to be in this event? I missed one, will I need to pay for it to get the KV-8?

6 stages. Yes, if you missed a stage then be prepared to spend GE if you want the KV-8. Check the top of the thread for the details. Happy hunting.

For some reason it uses the L-11’s turret with all round 75mm armour instead last time I checked

I wonder if the KV-8S will be added in the future as a premium or perhaps squadron

Can’t find an original source but apparently it should be the 90mm one - KV-8 - WarHistory.org

Some photos of a captured one here - but no mention of armour thickness - perhaps someone can deduce it?

There are a couple of reports on use of the tank at Soviet Heavy Flamethrower Tanks KV-8 - in Russian, but Google translate will translate the whole page
