The LeClerc should also have their turret basket implemented so they too can faced being disabled like most other top tier tanks. No more taking a shot, and being able to function like nothing happened.
You are not going to believe this…
All T-series of tanks should get their turret basket modeled.
It would be just fair
If only they have one… but I think even if the turret basket is shot, the turret can still turn.
It would be fairer to make their hard steel autoloader generate spall (you know because it is made out of metal and it’s pretty thick metal too) and make turret baskets not generate spall (since they’re barely more than a bit of metal mesh or thin light aluminum).
They don’t actually have one
It does generate spall.
stop making up false information.
i suggest at dews should do both
(also turret baskets armor plating should be implanted so it could eat spall just like similar plate which is around soviet autoloaders)
You mean like how NATO tanks also are irl?
ye I think there turret still can turn if the basket is shot… like how is making a hole in the basket gonna kill the entire turret. You didn’t even hit the motor.
So when do T series get their autoloaders included in the horizontal turret drive model, they’re a physical part of the turret they even turn with the turret shocking :o.
A destroyed Tseries autloader should jam up the turret just like every vehicle which has had this mechanic added.
In reality a destroyed autoloader should also recreate a saturn v first stage launch but hey ho
with, you know, deleting all the hydraulics that rotate turrets?
They are also closely bound to the breach control, if the autoloader gets damaged, the tank might not be able to fire a round
I’m not sure where the electronics for the autoloader are housed but I’d assume they are with the FCS, so shooting the FCS could disable the breach and autoloader.
No. FCS and autoloader controls are separate and independent blocks
