SHARD is unnecessary and will over perform for the current meta. Until Gaijin decides the Armata needs to be added there’s no reason to add such lolpen rounds when standard DU rounds commonly employed by almost every NATO country will suffice.
apparently the armata isn’t protected that well. Globally on par with what NATO has.

What the Leclerc really needs is its speed and maneuverability improved so it can be sort of a glorified light tank kind of like leopard 2k or amx 40, i think that’s the only true way to really make a big change so the Leclerc can always stay relevant
Well yes or anything that will make it stand out from its competitors because right now it feels like there’s a third world of the tanks.

Leclerc has equal mobility to other NATO tanks at its BR range. What NATO tanks need is regenerative steering modeled.
The Leclerc specifically needs its historical rounds so it can compete with other mainline NATO tanks as it does IRL.

The only reason i truly survive in the Leclerc is because people don’t know where to shoot (they can shoot anywhere) but just aim for lower plate and boom because of the 100kg bomb someone hid in the fuel tank.
Another extremely glaring issue but this is related to modeling and much more complex to deal with rather than providing a new APFSDS round with some tweaked numbers.
Ah yes the famous fuel tanks. Agreed i’ve never been shot that much there cuz the opponents believe that some armour will be here to stop the round. Weird thought when talking about a modern MBT.

Nope.
İt needs proper hull armor protection and turret rotation first.
Currently its already faster then many other NATO tanks at top tier, only thing they need to do is add regenerative steer and adjust Russian T-80’s mobilities.

They’re 0.7 BR apart, that’s just double standards. However both still play 99% of the time against the absolute best MBTs in the game, OFL F1 is fine, every shell becomes “bad” on occassion (thanks to Gaijin’s volumetric magic).
Your quote doesn’t mention anywhere that OFL F1B is not used, just that the DU projectile is used on the Leclerc… you’re reading too much into it ngl.
Any slightly better apfsds will help a lot the biggest problem for me with isn’t pen for Ofl f1 is post pen though the round shatters a lot on internal plates.

I said OFL 120 F1 isn’t used which is what is currently modeled ingame.
Decompression at 11.0+ is difficult to achieve.
OFL 120 F1 is subpar compared to other NATO nations and is ahistorical. Given that the Leclerc is also underperforming this necessitates a buff by the addition of its historical round.

F2 might not improve its penetration capabilites but improved spall will be more then welcome in that case.

Mhm, and I was talking about the OFL F1B. KNDS catalog shows it as being used on the Leclerc still, and recently they added the SHARD, so.

Not saying it should happen, but chances are they will.
With rank 8 most likely on the way i cant imagine we are too far away from these lol pen rounds tbh probs get them sometime next year.
