Look, I know the hyperdeadly superomega helicopter MI-28 NM has a hyperdeadly superomega LDRICM system. The issue we have ingame is, that the hyperdeadly superomega LDIRCM system on the hyperdeadly superomega helicopter Mi28NM can deflect missiles with generation 4 and 5 seekers, such as the IRIS-T, FB10, Aim-9X and so on.
Now, according the manufacturer of the hyperdeadly superomega LDIRCM “President-S”, it can only deflect up to gen 3 seekers. It’s made against stingers and older IR seekers. Don’t believe me? Here’s a picture with translation:

Purpose
The laser electro-optical jamming station is designed
to provide individual protection for helicopters against guided missiles with
infrared homing seekers.
Technical Design
The electro-optical jamming station comprises a multispectral solid-state laser, an electro-
mechanical unit, and a control and power supply unit.
•
Installation
The station is structurally located inside the fuselage.
Interfaces with the MWS and DAS computer: MIL-STD-1553-B or RS422.
Key Advantages
• Implements closed-loop countermeasures.
Provides effective countermeasures against 1st-, 2nd-, and 3rd-generation missiles.
Distinguishes IR-guided missiles from other threats.
• Monitors countermeasure effectiveness.
• Effective against multiple threats.
Main Specifications
Station power consumption from the 115/200 V, 400 Hz circuit, VA:
in standby mode not more than 1.2
in operating mode (short-term) not more than 3.5 kVA
Station weight, kg 64->
This would mean that nations that don’t have access to the hyperdeadly superomega SACLOS guided and totally real 95Ya6M actually have a chance to kill a DLIRM heli that is just pump-and dumping from the helipad.
As for the other two LDIRCM systems, how about we also tone these down to just blocking gen 3 seekers so that you don’t have to specically spawn in a plane to kill them because they are literally untouchable?
Is it that hard to have a sliver of playability instead of “realism” (meaning russian magic lazers).
