Well the only clarification I can provide is that as of this moment, Argentine vehicles are deployed within the German tree. Its not a full sub-tree like South Africa, Finland or Hungary, however its the home of those vehicles in game for the time being.
We have no plans to move, replace or remove any of those vehicles within the German tree as of right now. They were all added for a purpose in the German tree to fill gaps and lineups.

Thanks for the replies. They are pretty vague (“generally”, “currently”, “we have no plans as of right now”), but it is to be expected, given the nature of the company of possibly changing things as time goes. As you said, they are added for the purpose to fill gaps and lineups, and in my opinion they could almost seamlessly be replaced by the German equivalents in the future (TH-300 and TH-301), and maybe even end up better than before (if Gaijin decides to add the TH-301/120).

but right now we will handle argentinia to be purely for germany, besides its not only the tams of right now but the japzk a2 as well
The Kürassier could simply be rebranded to Austrian if Gaijin really wants to. Easy fix.

Well consider it like this. We had no plans for an Israeli tree at one point in time, and added several Merkava’s and other vehicles (like the Shot Kal) to other trees too. The communities interest and suggestions also guide the game too. Much like Israel, which was a common suggestion that grew over time. As with most nations in game.

None of the TH variants were equipped with thermal sights of any sort (the PZB 200 used on the prototypes was an NVD system, you may know it from the Leopard 2AV, although in the TH it was mounted externally), and certainly not with 3rd generation ones of the TAM-2C. The 120mm variant was also produced before any of the high powered KE (such as DM33) were even conceived, meaning for all intents and purposes, even the TH-301/120 would wound up being inferior all around.
This would create (again) a capability gap between 8.7 & 10.0, other vehicles that could replace the TAM 2Cs are well… only a single vehicle could tbh: the Boxer RCT 120 which carries F&F ATGMs, sports an APS, has an autoloaded 120mm cannon, 3rd generation thermals, and fires DM53 APFSDS (120mm)… do you think it could be a replacement? :P
Then the only seamless replacement would be for the first TAM, I guess…
If the situation really calls for it, I think both trees could keep the vehicles. It wouldn’t be the first time something like this happened in game, considering vehicles like the French top tier SPAA that I forgot the name now. Alternatively, I assume Germany has plenty of other options that could serve as replacements, with one of them being the one you mentioned.

Probably the best solution, yeap. Although just a reminder, unless Gaijin announces their plans for a Latin American TT, Argentina is currently the best candidate for being Germany’s actual sub-tree.
I am not aware of vehicles that could replace the TAM-2C other than the Boxer RCT, but at the same time, I don’t believe the devs would put it at such a low BR, it is an overwhelmingly superior vehicle in all aspects, more comparable to the CV90120 than the 2C.
For TH-301 series to serve the position of replacements, Gaijin would have to give them ahistorical ammunition & components (thermals that they never had).

We dont specialy care about F-18,we are just looking for any solution gap filler which argentinian could bring as well potentialy with the coming F-16 deal

Firstly, the tank is German, like any version of Leopard 1/2, also Poland is not tied to a specific country
Secondly, the Class 3 (P) wheeled tank was created by South Africa and Germany, why should it be in the UK branch? Oh yes, South Africa is there! Which didn’t even exist at that time
Thirdly, although the plane itself has nothing to do with it, the country that operates it does, otherwise I haven’t seen the main ones from UK complaining about the T-90 in the corresponding thread
Fourthly, Finnish tanks were added in 2014, when Finland and Sweden were not in the game, the stupidest excuse
Why don’t you stop writing nonsense? If gaijin and players consider Sweden to be a Scandinavian branch with Scandinavian technology, then I personally will consider Germany to be a Germanic branch with Switzerland, Austria and Argentina

I’m from chile and while i would love to see some of our toy in game. I would rather not have it materialize in a really bad Tech Tree. Its better for Gaijin too keep doing what are they have being doing. Pick X vehicle and in put it in a nation that its more close to it. End of Story. There its not reason for bad copypaste and some really underpower vehicles. with not support.
Also let not talk about some shady stuff that some country have done like Preset X tank has they new toy. When they don’t even have buy it.
