u are aware the next best suggestion is for a chile sub tree in israel tree right?
Well a lot of Chilean stuff do use Israel tech. So i don’t see why that its a problems. Even if Someone don’t like them or they Tech Tree.
i dont care either way, works fine with me. The addition of the chilen sub tree would render this proposal useless, meaning more argentinian stuff for germany
I mean a Super Tucano could also be goated if added
You have an absolute +1 from me, this is honestly a tree that I’d definitely love to play
I would prefer an ABC (Argentina, Brazil and Chile) with Brazil being the main one.
Do you know what this is? some sources say that this is technique from Cuba. This is a BTR-60 with a turret from a PT-76B.
Photoshopped fake image, I think…
An old acquaintance from the forum, @hienapunk would have described it as a typical “Latin zombie” vehicle and although the Cubans played at being Dr. Frankenstein with the BTR and achieved interesting things, this BTR is probably fake (or not).
It looks like a French tower/cannon, 90mm, like those used in the AML. The photo doesn’t look fake, although I don’t think it’s Cuban.
It’s definitely fake. Look at that perfectly straight tree…
Also here, too.
oh yeah, now I see it!
I really enjoy the idea of a LATAM TT, but I gotta place myself against the project for now. I don’t see any problems with the presented TT other than the lack of the brazilian Leopard 1. The issue I see is that there’s a lack of air tree, and for me, for a TT to be minimaly viable it has to have a decent air tree, and the reason being: 1st - air combat is just as important as ground combat; 2nd - no ground TT is fully completed without any CAS or fighter options. I know we have plenty of LATAM planes to use, from the brazilian P-47s to the AMX International, but without any air tree, I don’t think the ground tree would be viable, simply because there would be no way for such tree to participate on air combat as CAS ou conter-CAS.
For now, I think it’s much more appropiate to add LATAM vehicles troughout the already existing trees, mainly those that lack vehicles for various reasons, and also add historical skins for vehicles that already exist so we can feel included even without whole new vehicles. Not just that, but considering the amount of TTs we already have, getting ANOTHER TT wouldn’t really help things out and would make anyone trying to grind multiple TTs go trough much more grind, promoting the “fully grind one tree and ignore the rest” mentality. That’s another reason I oppose the suggestion.
GAIJIN, I have a ton, and I’ mean a TON of late WW2 time played. The only thing that would make me grind cold war is this. I’d happyli grond it and buy premium
The Latam aerial tree is almost finished so it can be published as a suggestion, so it will soon be seen here in the forum for people to see and vote, as well as the naval and helicopter tree, I just ask for a little patience.
I like the idea, but I don’t know how likely it is. I could see them doing what they did with South Africa for UK and giving Latin America a line within the U.S. Tech Tree.
I want this almost as much as i want a Yugo/PostYugo/unalligned nations tree
Difference is S.A. barely has any vehicles that can be viable and still added. General L.A. tree actually has far more potential and unique vehicles.
I’ve come across this Brazillian M3 variant before that supposedly has some variety of Deutz engine. It also seems to have a turret reminiscent of the CRR’s. Could this have any place in the tech tree, possibly as a more interesting replacement to the X1P?
Forget anything else I’ve been wanting to see the X1 and X1A2 in game for so long.
