i know this thread is about the ground forces but i was also thinking this TT in AIR RB would be insane and really good
Brazil operated the Mirage 2000C and B

f5m (basically a super updated version of the f5E = old airframe with advanced technology, better engine, ECM, hmd, 40g IR missiles, bvr missiles, etc)
image
Brazil also has the gripen E (with iris-t for short ranges and meteors for long range)

super tucano (which would be a prop that would probably fight against jets as it has 40g missiles, hmd, etc.)
image
Chile operates f16 A/B MLU and C/D
image
Venezuela operates the Su-30 MKV

and many others ofc, i just got some that i was like, damn that would be really cool

Yep, that’s a good peek at what we have in store for the high tiers! We also have some exclusive variants of some planes as well as the Argentinian domestic designs, of course. Stay tuned!

nah, they can just remove the Argentinean vehicles from Germany, like they did with other nations when they got added

Switzerland could take Argentina’s place on the German tree, it will be an excellent exchange

and Germany already has 1 Swiss plane, so it works

What do you have in mind? If you are talking about Italian planes in the German branch, then they were added during the first update of War Thunder back in 2013 (So, your logic is not correct if this is the option). If about, say, Israeli technology in the US branch, then again they were never in the main branch, only in the form of a promotional branch and so on.

In simple words, Argentina will not be added anywhere; it is already present in the Germany branch, just like South Africa or Finland in their technology development trees

Germany has their own equivalents of the TAM that can be added to take their spot. The TH-300 and TH-301, for example.

As I said, they will not be deleted. And this has already been discussed many times on the old forum

I didn’t say they would be deleted. They’d just become hidden from the main tree and only players who already own it would keep it. And the German equivalents of the tanks would replace them as researchable vehicles for the light tank line.

They won’t be hidden, since Argentina is already in the Germany branch, it’s just pointless

No offense, but there are standards for trees: One main nation (For example, Brazil), one subtree to it (For example, Chile) (If it is needed, of course), and various premium things (For example, South American countries that are not in the game and are not tied to the research tree). And only so (Excluding misunderstandings like M53/59)

Argentina isn’t really a subtree to Germany. There are plenty of Argentinian vehicles missing. They are only there because the TAM was made in collaboration with Germany. And the Kürassier… that’s just a lame excuse by Gaijin to add it to the German tree, since the Austrian version ended up in the French tree after a lot of players arguing over it.

The fact that there are no lines means absolutely nothing, the main fact is confirmation of the addition of equipment to the branch. I still don’t understand why everyone is attached only to this “system” (Lines)

Yes, that happened. But both Argentina and Austria had it (Both countries are very closely related to Germany)

I don’t understand why you are so attached to this “set in stone” thing. If you look at the history of War Thunder’s development, Gaijin has changed their minds about things numerous times. This wouldn’t be any different. It’s a tiny problem that can be easily solved by using German equivalents as replacements.

Yes, they changed, but not in this matter, as you can see. Otherwise, the same JAS39C would not have ended up in the UK (As a recent example)

Link me up with the Argentinian sub-tree announcement, then we’ll call it so.

The JAS39C ended up in the UK because the UK tree has a South African subtree (they need it) and the UK air tree also needed a top tier jet.

The German tree does not need the TAM nor an Argentinian subtree as the former have their own equivalents to replace everything.

Israel wasn’t supposed to be an independent tree, surely Gaijin wouldn’t add them before other better pptions right /s
