And even if they were mislead, that should mean make another vote and clarify what is voted on, not simply take the oposite outcome.
51 to 49 is a very small gap. The poll was merely to find how big the demand for this change is among the players. When Gaijin found out that there is quite a large portion of the community interested in such a change, they decided to give it another go and I support their decision. Now we will have a chance to actually test it and then, maybe, some players will change their mind. The next poll may have more players to vote for this change…
I believe if the first poll ended with result like only 30% for the change, they would have scrapped the idea…

Yet no still should mean no, and yes should mean yes.
They should have clarified in advance that if it reaches more than, lets say 40% acceptance rate they will go through with the test. But they didnt, they literally made a yes/no vote.
They can redo the vote if they want but its not like it matters now since its been tested on the dev anyway, i guess they could do a public test on the live server for a week that includes the APHE nerf and then do a vote on if people want to keep it
It’s not the opposite- you are saying that a percentage of players did not understand something or changed their minds when they were voting and so the voting should be disregarded. I am showing you that it is equally possible that people who voted yes misunderstood or changed their minds. It’s not the “opposite,” that is the same argument.

They should have redone the vote before the dev server, or went through with the results.
If you have a presidential election and it goes 51 to 49, you cant just say listen guys because it is so close we will pick the candidate that lost the vote.
Thats not how a vote works. If they would have called it approval rating test, over 40% we test it, it would be OK in my book.
In a vote with 2 coices i have a black and white view, yes, and no.

What logical fallacy? You made a hasty generalization and all I did was show that the same generalization could be made on the other side. I am not saying that we should disregard a percentage of the yes votes because some could have misunderstood or changed their minds, I am saying that a few people on the forum misunderstanding the vote who might have voted yes is not representative of the no votes broadly. You have no evidence that vast swaths of no voters misunderstood anything.
