Was just landing at the runway on tunisia, only to run into a large bump on the runway that promptly killed me. I feel like this is a fairly obvious and hard to miss thing, unless whoever is doing it is an incompetent idiot, but that’s just me.

Nope. it’s a terrain projection starting on the eastern side of the runway and running most of the way across, a long hill about 2-3m at it’s greatest height.
