Lahatut 8.7--> 9.0 just because of my thundershowsubmission is diabolical

I find it pretty funny how the LAHATut’s BR got increased from 8.7 to 9.0 right after my thundershow submission. Was this based on my submission or something? If the devs think all LAHATUT gameplay looks like that, then they’re way off.

The LAHATUT has 14 rockets, but in reality, only 7 are usable since you can only fire two at once. Despite that, it still got its BR raised. Meanwhile, the Huey sits comfortably at 8.3 with way better survivability, about five times more Mighty Mouse unguided rockets, and access to more AGMs.

What’s the reasoning behind raising the LAHATut to 9.0? It has no armor and very limited firepower. JUSTICE FOR US VR PLAYERS! You’ve constantly nerfed us into the ground. No wonder Bruce Leeroy stopped making YouTube videos.

Muh statistics.

I tried to convince them not to, it didn’t work (I totally wasn’t just outright ignored, noooo) when the BR changes were presented.

Not much we can do now unless someone with a brain looks at it and realizes it’s pretty much inferior to the AH-1 at the same BR.

real

And you think it went up from your one thundershow video and not because it needed to?

I’m not certain if the BR increase is directly linked to my ThunderShow video, but I do know a few friends who posted crazy maneuvers with the Lahatut helicopter in War Thunder (Sim controls), and the BR went up by 0.3 one week after we shared our clips, which feels a bit suspicious. There’s really no need for it to be at such a high BR, especially considering that despite its crazy movement, the only time you get kills is when you’re up against blind enemies. or come from behind.

From a VR player’s perspective, we die a lot, and the only time we do well is when we’re able to take advantage of blind enemies. And as I mentioned earlier, there are MUCH better helicopters at a whole BR lower, like the AH-1G and UH-1B at 8.3, with over 5x the rocket capacity and much better survivability. The Lahatut only has 7 shots — that’s 7 kills if all of them hit. How often do you actually one-shot a tank with a single ungided rocket? Not very often.

Additionally, the Lahatut has no armor. If you’re spotted, you’re pretty much dead, especially considering how quickly the commander machine guns turn and how fast repairs are made (6-7 seconds). From a VR perspective, the movement on this heli is decent, but if you’re playing with non-sim controls, it’s pretty rough. Honestly, I feel bad for players who don’t use Sim controls on this thing. It’s basically a walking cardboard.

Which are AGM-22s and not TOW-2s…
And even then it’s undertiered compared to every other 8.3

“Yeah, my bad on that one. I’m really hoping the devs take another look at the LAHATut’s capabilities and realize it doesn’t quite fit at 9.0. It’d be great if they brought it back to its original 8.7 or even down to 8.3, where it seems to belong. The current BR just doesn’t seem justified based on its performance.”

Sometimes I think it’s punishment for the Israeli TT player base being too good at the game (Not me though… I’m average on a good day, lol.)

Its called coincidence.

With the number of people playing War Thunder, there’s always going to be people who played a vehicle within a week of a BR change for it.

In this case, it just happened to be you. If they’d waited a month, it would have been someone else.

Please use proper forum section, tags and topic thread to discuss specific vehicle.
