Imo Zis 5 is not good at 4.7 , plus you get KV-1 756 at 5.0 which has long 75

The problem with the KV-1’s is the volumetric problem with their armor which makes them a problem to fight. I find most 4.0+ tanks have no problem with their armor.

Äänislinna 1943.08.28. They weren’t testing the tank itself, but instead the durability of different tank blockades. Lots of photos about Klimi and T-34 m 1942 crushing stuff.

Pihkalanjärvi 1944.07.04. This was near the front during the Soviet offensive.
Moves and actions of every individual StuG III in Finnish service have been well recorded in couple of books, but for the not so numerous medium and heavy tanks we don’t seem to have such.
One story tells that Klimi shot a T-34-85 at close range and that same T-34-85 got captured and is now sitting in the same museum.
Those are nice pictures, but might I recommend you blur out or cover up the swastikas on them? Even if they didn’t mean the same thing as in Nazi Germany, it will still probably get removed because of them 🤷

Well, since the Finnish KV-1A has been leaked to be a premium, there isn’t much hope for a Finnish tech tree heavy tank unless Gaijin decides to add the KV-1E to the tech tree. By the most technical of technicalities, however, there is still hope for a “Finnish” KV-1, although incredibly controversial.
Below is a picture of a partially up-armored KV-1 Model 1940. It was knocked out via a satchel charge to the track, allowing the Finns to capture it. They would repair the track themselves but also put a demo charge on it in the case of a counter-attack. The tank was never put into service so it was probably blown up.
It’s not pretty, but this guy is pretty much our only chance of a Finnish tech tree KV-1 at this point… There aren’t many options for a Swedish tech tree heavy tank either other than the unfinished Kranvagn or a Churchill III they received after the war, which had no weapons…

Ive thought about making this version a vehicle suggestion but its very unlikely gaijin would add it. The nost likely case would be to get the name of the commander of the KV-1B and find a battle of historical importance and try to get a model of it added that way.

Why would gaijin add anything else, they aren’t going to add the KV-1B and this thing will probably be 5.0 so its pointless outside of russia.
Interesting seeing a take that the KV-1B’s brother is going to be “mid”…
Well Zis-5 is better armor than the KV-1B/E with an improved gun.
And KV-1B/E is already borderline OP alongside M4A2.
