Kurnass 2000, Kfir C.7 and Kfir C.2 Battle Ratings

I want to gather some insight

tldr I think all of these planes are too weak for their current BR but would be too strong if moved down a tier

The Kurnass 2000 (12.3) is at the same BR as the Netz and the only advantage it gets over that is being able to carry more countermeasures. Not having radar missiles at this BR isn’t that bad imo but I don’t think the flight model makes up for it.

The Kfir C.7 (12.0) has a very potent flight model, but I think only 4 IR missiles is subpar firepower for the BR and the low amount of countermeasures doesn’t help either. But if you put it at 11.7 I think its FM would be too oppressive for the other planes.

And for the Kfir C.2 (11.7) just copy-paste what I said about the C.7

What do you think about the BR placements of these planes?
Do you think moving them down would be justified?
Do you have the planes yourself and want to share your experience regarding this?

K2K to 11.7, KC7 to 11.7 and KC2 to 11.3. That would be balanced

I think Kurnass 2000 at 12.0 would be fine. At 11.7 it’d be very overpowered

When I was grinding the israeli TT, when I unlocked rank 7 I rushed into the Kfir C.7 and planned to use it to grind the rest till I unlocked one of the rank 8 jets.

The kfir C.7 was a miserable experience (2.0kdr but it was very bad for what I am used to).

If I could go back I would grind the 11.3 Kurnass instead, and use it to grind the rest till I unlocked the netz or the F-16D. It would also make the most sense because I was already using the ayit as the main grinder in the previous tier.

I was just curious about the kfir FM and rushed it instead, since the kurnass is just an F-4E that I already had plenty of experience with. Big mistake.

Naturally, I already knew the Kurnass 2000 wasn’t even worth crewing.

A-4H, Ayit, and the F-16D were the most fun jets for me.

At 11.7 you have the mig-23mld which is jsut a straight upgrade over the kurnass2k so I don’t think it’s too much of an issue

Yep, higher top speed, acceleration is not far from it, radar, far better missile loadout, can actually retain energy in a dogfight, more countermeasures.

I don’t understand why it is still 11.7 when it’s already better than some 12.0’s

its significantly better to play than the kfir c7, imo its mostly fine at 12.3 aside from some more recent compression issues (f/a 18s)

theyre completely different planes what are you talking about, if youre using the kurnass 2k like a mig23 its no wonder you think it should go to 11.7

The netz/F-16A are already quite mid at 12.3, the kurnass 2000 is garbage at that BR no doubt

bruh they never shouldve gone down, the f18s and almost everything at 13.0 and above just need to go up another step

Sure, but currently they already get outclassed by some other 12.3 and dare I say, even the 12.0 F-4S in the AirRB meta. And they are next to useless in an uptier.

MiG-23MLD is more useful in a full uptier than the F-16A in a full downtier imho

The superior dogfighting F-111C is 11.7 already.

Been trying to play kfir c7 near stock and its just bad. The devs still can’t realize that the python is not an extreme upgrade over other all aspect heat seekers. Like sure, it’s clearly better than the all aspect r60 but to me it is absolutely never worth the battle rating increase. Having non irccm heat seekers when people have pd 7f makes you just a spectator in the match sometimes.
It can have great overall performance but having no radar missiles and no irccm makes it take a long time to get a kill on someone in your average match. We can theorycraft all day about radar missiles being useless with multipath but they still end up killing you sometimes. It could be 11.7 being possibly too good but it’d be better to move all the pd radar missile users up by 0.3.
