Thanks for searching.
I thought I was going mad for a moment :D
Yeah and some other weapons as well hs-293 for example.
So they are definetly building a bit of a roster of AP bombs that would be pointless without AP pen on bombs
Maybe it’s a thing we get in the new update.
Definetly naval heavy so far
Just to be clear, there are not only 1 AIM-120C variant. There’s actually 5 of them.
The PL-12 would be better than the:
- AIM-120A
- AIM-120B
- AIM-120C3
- AIM-120C4
Equivalent to the :
- AIM-120C5
- AIM-120C6
Worse than the :
- AIM-120C7
- AIM-120C8/D
Here’s some reference for any fox 3 missile you have in mind.
@Texas_Engineer_Mike pinging you since you said the same thing
Would depend on the AIM-120C version:
Range wise the base R-77 would be better than:
- AIM-120A
- AIM-120B
- AIM-120C3
- AIM-120C4
Worse than:
- AIM-120C5
- AIM-120C6
- AIM-120C7
- AIM-120C8/D
The improved R-77-1 would be better than:
- AIM-120A
- AIM-120B
- AIM-120C3
- AIM-120C4
- AIM-120C5
- AIM-120C6
Worse than:
- AIM-120C7
- AIM-120C8/D
Maneuvrability wise, the R-77 is a bit more maneuvrable than the AIM-120 thanks to it’s latice fins which help it for High AOA. (You could say that the 120 is 35G while the R-77 is 40G).
The R-77M (used only on the SU-57) is more an equivalent of the AIM-120C8/D
It’s better than:
- AIM-120A
- AIM-120B
- AIM-120C3
- AIM-120C4
- AIM-120C5
- AIM-120C6
- AIM-120C7
For reference of FOX 3 missile you can look into this thread:
so for a Balanced Introduction of Fox 3 for all they should add
- PL 12
- R-77
- AiM 120C4/5
and they can even do that Because the F-16s we just got carried C4 or C5 AMRAAMs iirc
they missiles are just terrible, they wobble so much :(
poor Wobbly bois
KF41When will the bug be fixed
What is pl-15 similar to?
Someones a bit paranoid!
Well can you blame the poor sob?
Does anyone remember the jet rumored to appear this year?
Do you mean the JAS39C that was confirmed to be coming this year?
Pl-15-Aim 120D
Btw according to some video, r77 -1(not r77) are equal to aim 120a/b, r77 range below aim120 a/b
