Possibly next tuesday

I dont agree there it is hurting the game in a way because people think just because they made an exception for Japan theyll do it for anyone

Part from Britain :(

fair point

Those aren’t 12.0, so they can’t replace it.
F-16A OCU from Thailand could.

it ain’t hurting no one

It clearly does if a certain someone has to mention it literally every single time British top tier is discussed

im brit main

ROKAF T-50 or FA-50 Block 10

I’m not talking about you in particular, just people in general
Every time British top tier is discussed (air), the discussion will inevitable land of “but what about MUH AJ, MUH Ho-Ri, MUH R2Y”

we do need a top tier that ain’t a harrier

Even though it was written in the devblog, I’m still not sure that Israel will indeed get MH/UH-60L. Very well it might be just typo and untill there is clarification from mods, it should be taken with pinch of salt

The damage has been done already then, what’s the point of getting rid of them?

You can’t magically undo the past by hiding these vehicles and turning them into unobtainium

Why would it be a typo? Israel uses MH-60…

To quote the devblog:
“In War Thunder, the MH-60L Black Hawk will arrive as one of the top additions to both the American as well as the Israeli helicopter research trees with the release of the upcoming major update!”

I think its real. In the spot where they only say “to the American trees” theres a plural, which makes me think the typo is actually here with them forgetting israel the first time.

The devblog is specifically about the US Black Hawk, that’s why it mostly talks about it being added to the american tree, reading a bit further reveals info about the israeli addition

Spoiler

First of all, as a Japanese person, I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who supports Japan regarding the F-16AJ, and to everyone who is thinking about the match and raising their voices.
First of all, to be honest, I think it’s better to leave it up to the gaijins to decide whether to remove AJ or not. Even if we don’t know the standards, they do. Furthermore, Japan cannot prepare an aircraft to replace the AJ on its own. This is very sad for me, but it is also a fact that I have to admit.
The option of replacing the F-2 is often talked about, but the performance difference between the AJ and F-2 is too large to make up for it. So you have three choices. Either prepare it outside Japan, leave it as an extreme exception, or remove it.
Ultimately, the decision will be made by Gaijin.
I would really like to have a domestically produced machine, but that would be difficult, so realistically I think we should introduce a subtree.

As a Japanese which subtree option do YOU want?
