Kings of Battle - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 2)

just because they have access to more jets doesnt mean they should get them, f16a’s were capable enough, f14a too, but i admit they did lack a good cas aircraft, which they got 2 of later anyways, now how is that fair

right, my bad

I am not saying that Gaijin shouldn’t try to give every nation a roughly similar number of vehicles, just that some nations made more than others and thus there is no way of avoiding them getting more than others other than just not adding them, which would really hurt the game by taking away variety.

russia has many su27s and mig 29s, yet gaijin added the smt, when they couldve added the K to the naval line(its the same as smt but lighter and overall better)

Su-27s and the MiG-29K (more so the former, but it also applies to the latter) would be quite a step up from where we are currently due to the number of missiles they can carry.

From what someone else said before, the Su-27 is a big step up in performance and if either the su27 and f15 comes with ARHs it would be pretty difficult to counter, also IIRC the mig 29K has an AESA radar so is pretty powerful compsred to what we have

I might expect gaijin consider add Sapsan-E on MiG-29SMT (9-19) this quarter because currrently lack 3rd generation targeting pod

I don’t think MiG-29K (9-31), MiG-29K (9-41) & MiG-29KR (9-41) coming to 2024-2025 because it as a 4+ gen fighter

These roster aircraft in the future my guess

Spoiler

USA - F/A-18C, F-15C MSIP, F-16CG Block 40

Oi, bloody spanish stealing our jet.

Honestly how if, when and how they implement the leaked T-80BVM Obr. 23 will show if they have double standards.

Thanks, that was just a list i threw together in about 5 mins with what i could think of off the top of my head, because i doubt we will get F15s next update unless AMRAAMs dont come with it, i think 6 AMRAAMs would be way to powerful for 12.3 or even 12.7, so logicaly it makes more sense for the F-18, to come first, also russia could get a Mig-25 perhaps instead

Doesn’t the F-18 have the capability to mount even more than 6 AMRAAMs?

It would be easier to limit tho, the F15 can carry 4 on its underbelly alone, the F18C can only carry 2, plus gaijin could limit the F18 to no double hardpoints for the AMRAAM and limit it to just 4 or 6, whereas the F15 would have a minimum of 4 but most likely 6 or even 8(with dual mounting)

Plus because the F15 has increadibly powerful engines i wouldnt think it would be logical to step up in both engine power and offensive armament so much at the same time

i dont want the su27 yet, im talking about the mig 29k

I guess gaijin might consider MiG-29KR (9-41) after MiG-29S (9-13S), MiG-29SMT (9-17) & MiG-29M2 (9-67) because MiG-29KR it as a 4+ generation fighter

Mig 29k has AESA radar tho, so its more on par with the super hornet

I wonder that MiG-29K (9-31) & MiG-29KR (9-41) fitted phased array radar or active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar ?

Im not entirely certain, wikipedia states that all mig 29ks have AESA but i might not be reliable

From what i can tell, there is no major capability gap between the K and KR as the KR is just the russian version without india and ukranian parts

Hang on so with the American T-90 could be the top tank reward for the winter.
It would make perfect sense to add the RNZAF F-16A as a top reward too :0
