Maybe we can show the photos of JH7A’s loadout, I remember in 2021 and 2018 there is a public exhibition in China, if someone took the photo, I am sure gaijin will know which A2G missiles should they add.

Honestly the real reason we got the AJ was probably for Mavericks. Japan does not have access to standoff munitions until the F-2 late (maybe early if JDAMs work with camera) which we’ll be waiting a long time for.
I don’t really want to engage in this again with Razer, since we’ve talked about it a lot but here we go again:
There were multiple variants all testing different things. It would be perfectly capable to take an XF-2A fit it with countermeasures (as it has slots for them), fit it with armaments (as XF-2B tested), and fitted with APG-68 (that fits and was plausibly planned for it until J/APG-1 was ready as the nose cone was enlarged for the new radar from the F-16Cs).
Basically, you can copy paste the F-16AJ right now and change the model to an XF-2A and we’re done. That’s how close the XF-2A is to being in the game. The only difference would be that it’ll be slower and potentially carry 2 more radar missiles, but still be using 9Ls instead of 9Ms. That kind of airplane is perfectly fine in this meta. This is why I’d put the XF-2A (or F-2 if they decide to bring AESA anyway) ahead of the F-15J.
When XF-2A was brought up in the past it seemed Gaijin was not aware of its existence or did not have enough information. This was like a year ago. What else went through a similar process? The new Type 81c which took a long time to bring into the game and has some ahistorical things as well anyway.
At the end of the day gameplay trumps all and everything else is just justification to make it happen. We have no idea what Gaijin is planning for the December update, but I’m very skeptical of the F-15J when THE poster child of a candidate of an XF-2A exists as early gen 4 option for Japan and the airframe that it was based off is already in the game.
They’ve added controls for player Aircraft Carriers ( War-Thunder-Datamine/gui.vromfs.bin_u/wt/config/hud.blkx at master · gszabi99/War-Thunder-Datamine · GitHub )
Which fits w/ how WT Mobile also has the controls for their aircraft carriers implemented, though these new ones in WT are more complex. And fits w/ how several of the aircraft carriers currently in WT are WTM 's player-controlled ones, w/ the detailed modelling inherent to player vessels already in place.

oh god i dont want where this is going…my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined (re: JH-7A).
but now i understand why people do the dangerous endeavor of sharing you know…documents. they’re tired of their vehicles being held back from their potential to the highest degree
