do you consider the F-35 a superior fighter than the EF2000?
I just think since the GDR Line ends with 29G, the Strike line ends with Tornado and the Fighter line ends with EF2000 that it would make more sense to put the F-35 in the Strike line as that’s going to be it’s purpose in JaBoG 33 and it would keep a second line alive
Absolutely! Britain has the potential to rival USA, Germany and USSR on it’s own without even a single commonwealth vehicle being present in their tree!
Unfortunately, the addition of the god-forsaken ZA sub-tree ruined the possibility of getting a light vehicles line.
The addition of Vickers Mk.11 is a step in the right direction, but it still very much saddens me that it will never be in a light vehicles line where it belongs with the Saladin, Warrior variants and Ajax.
We have planes that are still in use ingame, that doesnt mean that something like the F-35 would be even close to a good idea for War Thunder, especially with how every single country except for China and Russia would use the F-35
yes very much so, the Eurofighter is a 4.5th gen aircraft that lacks any proper stealth abilities thus would be lit up like a Christmas tree on high tier radars if stealth is introduced, the only thing keeping the Eurofighter competitive would be the meteor and an aircraft relying on a missile is useless when it can be detected far earlier than any other aircraft
fair, doesn’t Germany also have the weird Vtol starfighter from the late 80s, maybe that could come between the first Tornado and Germanys GR.4 equivalent
that’s fair then, I think Germany is kinda gonna be stuck like Japan from now on with only 1 or 2 lines making it further due to all the projects being canned after reunification
Sweden and Britain will also be in a similar place if it helps, at least with Britain it has commonwealth/ export aircraft it can get (like the CF-18 or Hawk 200) but those are very hit and miss when it comes to Gaijin
