don’t hope for much this be a filler update

By the looks of it most of the big bang stuff will be in the Christmas update

yup considering this update seems more empty than a shop mid lock down, the final update will be bigger than a contract to screw over a community of loyal fans (this is in reference to the recent PW drama), so yeah final update should not disappoint

The MiG-29G is all I need to be excited.

Yea most of the numbers of vehicles will be from the US and the M109.

We know quiet a lot about the next update already a Leo, top tier jet for Britain and a Gripen C for Sweden. Hopefully wth the Gripen comes the Hungarian air sub tree.

RN the only good viable top plane for Italy is the B+, the ADF just feels lacking, so as much as I HATE the Gripen it would be an upgrade

From https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/40396/the-u-s-once-helped-china-develop-a-modern-jet-fighter:
->AN/APG-66 from early F-16s
->American Inertial Navigation
->American Ejection seats
->American HUD
->American MFDs
->NATO standardized Data links
->Aspide missiles

Tbh I think that is why they are holding back the air sub tree as the Gripen would be big news and other aircraft along the way will help italy.

if they do add an air sub tree, the MiG-29 would be a bit of a pain in the ass roadblock if we are honest, maybe finish the bomber line with the C considering its multirole capabilities but that is unlikely

You sure about that, it literally says in it, it was an evolved version from the international Sp-70 project my guy. Just be because it’s not the “same chassis”, “same turret”, and “same gun” simply because it’s rebranded and internally built by Oto-Melara doesn’t mean it’s not the same, and if you look at the later pictures of the German one, they are literally identical. A great example is the Strv 121, it’s a leopard 2a4 rebranded under BAE and built in Sweden. It’s still a leopard 2a4, just because it isn’t branded the exact same doesn’t make it not the same. Another example if your a car guy is the Toyota Gt-86 and the Subaru BRZ, same car different manufacturer, not a thing different except badges.

Since I’ve grinded most of italy up till the 104 I won’t mind the extra help the 21, 23 will bring

But at least give them a recon drone… there are maps in which you can aim at more or less 3KM and indirect fire can be done

I get what you mean, however what you are saying makes it seem you would want a system that uses completely different 3D assets (the Hull of which is already ingame) be kept from being added until the assets for the SP-70 were ready, all the Palmaria would require is the turret and gun while the SP-70 would require a hull (seems to be a modified Leo 1 hull could be wrong), turret and gun

Current J-8B has Aspides though. But glad to see if they go with that version there’d still be Aspides.
Thanks for the summary.

I’m sure theres more upgrades not listed, but thats a good majority. A stronger radar coupled with amazing climb capability coupled with good BVR missiles would be a potent premium

I mean, the images look exactly alike other than some Hull changes.

yeah not all the assets needed look nothing alike, the Sp-70 has a rounded turret edge(some versions just have a straight change to another side with no smoothing or extra bit of smoothing), while the Palmaria has a change via another bit of metal, also the gun is different and the Hulls are not even the same family of vehicle, anyway not the place for this topic to go further

If what you think is true (it probably is) the Italian TT will be Sweden’s successor (getting love).

I wonder which nation will be the next to receive love.

The candidates would be Japan or Israel. But there’s no sign of a subtree for them anytime soon. Also, Japan recently received some MBTs, an F-16 and now a new spaa and probably Nagato will arrive in December.

This apart from a new nation (which I think will be Poland/Czech), I think the next subtrees could be the South African aerial tree for the UK and an Argentine aerial tree for Germany. That Pucara appears again in Olivia’s leak is encouraging.

Although I would love to see Argentine vehicles, it is the first time that I see the real possibility that they could arrive in the short/medium term. I mean, I’m trying to be objective here, it shouldn’t be taken as a personal bias.

I’ve heard of the coming of Denmark and Norway to the Swedish tree, not any time soon, but I’ve heard it’s coming.

Well Norway is already here :P
