F14 was entirely because of top gun I reckon. Everything else just followed that. But yes, unfortunately we could have done with another year of Gen 3

Wasnt F14 Slapped there last minute to cover something up?
I heard it was rushed, but no idea what for. I assumed it was to get it before top gun
From what I have heard the F-14 wasnt actually ready when Maverick was set to come out, so Maverick being delayed meant the F-14 was barely ready when the movie was out
I recall something happening and then F14 was dropped randomly

It’s so weird looking back through the updates, germany had just gotten the MiG-23MLA, france the Mirage F1C, china the J8-B and italy the F-104.ASA in the update before the F-14A got released
In the Danger Zone update the F-14A also was the only top tier fighter, it took them almost 6 months to add competitive fighters to any nation
A lot of arguing about whether Canada is part of Britian. Not really anything else interesting.
Still nothing apart from there is still hope of having a new nation

Bravy uses this missile, the Volna-M
But I’ve since had it pointed out to me that the ZIF-101 twin-arm launcher became operational over a decade before dedicated naval variants of the SA-3 did. So this new weapon might be for a missile ship in an earlier refit than Bravy is currently represented as being.
^example of a ship that used the standard S-125 before Volna-M, not an example of a ship during that time.
The loadouts are already in the files, interestingly the SURA rockets are filed into the Switzerland section.

Because they’re Swiss Oerlikon rockets.
But they’re for the Strikemaster (at least right now), as I marked in my list on my website.

It’s funny how we are getting all these Swiss armaments but hardly any Swiss aircraft
Raw numbers wise absolutely.
The Arab countries are very numerous and have used a great variety of aircraft between one-another with Iran also having quite a rich aerial history.
Uniqueness wise though it would be incredibly lacking.

Well they are Swiss in origin (Oerlikon).
The SURA-FL type used by Strikemaster (and the earlier, less powerful Jet Provost Mk.50 series) was also used on some Hunter variants but I don’t know if Switzerland used that type themselves or only 8cm Flz.-Rakete for the Hunter Mk.58 we have in game
I guess they could work as sub-trees for Israel, if geo-politics allow for that to happen
