final update usually is the biggest that adds something if not game changing, then meta offsetting (such as a nation)
I agree the October - March updates have always added something relating to a new nation

Yeah, the thing is tho, looking at what people have been asking for the most and what would make the most sense, the december update is most likely going to focus on either introducing BVRAAMs or finalizing the preparation for BVRAAMs

would be realy bad for me, this would mean they would remove them from the german tech tree and i used the tree moving around to skipp a lot of light tanks would need to get the radkampfwagon and tam 2c the moment it gets announced
Lol most of the nations that can come will only bring C&P or heavy modifications of vehicles already in game.
Hardly game changing and not even close to meta changing.
Israel was added almost 2 years ago and sweden almost 4 years ago, the 2020 december update was a regular content update + engine upgrades
If a new nation was to be added this year we would have to get premiums of that nation in this update

Looking at previous years
Italy and France was added in 2017
China and Sweden was added in 2019
SA and Israel was added in 2020
It’s why I prefer the united korea or Yugoslavia TT concepts the most. They offer unique vehicles and/or modifications at top tier ground that make them worth grinding.
Yeet the K2PL in the korean tree as a Squadron vehicle and boom.

Look at Israel we had a teaser, Dev stream and a 1st server nothing in them suggested a new nation.
And boom Israel was announced 3 days later. I feel like we only seen 75% of the update so far

I could see that. A nation they can fill with soviet copy and paste. We all know I rather have a Western nation next so BeNeLux or one of the two remaining Dominions before going back to the East.
Didn’t we only get Finland last year(despite the tree only bringing one unique tank)? It was the year before we had two nations: SA(Sub-Tree) Spring update and Israel (Independent) Fall update.

There was more than a year between the release of Italy ground and Italy air.
They aren’t really a good example. Italy has always been a bit special in game.
pretty sure we have seen about 95% of the update already and there are no signs of gaijin working to add a new nation at this moment

This is true
Arab/Iran woudnt be great for air, or even good, per se, but it wouldnt be any worse than Israel or China. There are some interesting stuff there, such as Egyptian Focke-Wulf (Kurt Tank) jets, Iranian F14 Tomcats firing MIM23 HAWK missiles in an air to air and air to ground role, and Iraqi exocet throwing lear jets.
Non the less we had Italy in the same year as France.
