Ive really enjoyed the Japanese air tree tbh the T-2 is a lot of fun, Especially with the radar slaving 9Ps. I’d recommend giving them a try
And they always shoot at the same speed even if in the amx32 105 devblog they talked about quicke reload xD
i might have translated it wrong mb, then the range of the missile is kinda weird for the looks of the info not specificating the missile with the range
Its an all-round better jaguar at the same br so I’d be happy to fly it.
I’d like to grind them all I just don’t have time and i need to commit to one. Japan might be the logical choice though as i have the jap premium bf109 and already have all of the props researched.
I wouldn’t think for a high mobility platform it would make a huge difference, but ill keep it in mind, it should be comparable to a leo 1a5?
If I got that, and the autoloaded type-16 prototype I’d be a very happy woman lmao. (If I got my beloved scimitar I’d probably need medical attention but lets not get into that)
I feel like the main issue with IR AA missiles ingame rn isn’t max range and more so at what ranges they can lock helicopters and less so planes, planes are less of an issue for obvious reasons but somehow helis seem to be a big issue, and even then the stinger is known to be missing 12Gs of pull extra and the Mistrals even more than that, this is what happens when you base all MANPADs and such after 1 Igla manual
The speed is very nice over the jag, but mostly I prefer the gun. I can aim a Vulcan, Adens? Not so much. Also the Jag has the cool looking overwing harpoints, so I’m rather undecided on which is best
I’m gonna need medical attention if they release this thing unbroken:
Résumé
Mmmm CTA40s, did they do one with a CTA45? I want the funny hesh autocannon okay
The thing is…AMX-32s aren’t exactly fast. If you have played the AMX-30B/BRENUS or the AMX-40, AMX-32s feel like T-72s.
Jag is good for the bomb loadouts in GRB although the first one is essentially useless.
The guns I can aim both well, vulcan i find is rather easy and for ADENS, well every British plane uses ADENS or Hispanos with similar velocities (believe it or not) as well as the G91 r/3 in Germany so i find those easy.
I’d take the T-2 simply for better flight performance, jag takes a while to get up to speed and loses it all immediately. Gr1a loses this issue and is closer to T-2 and better for GRB. This is just my experience fighting against T-2’s though, ive never flown it.
I see, so they work, but its not good maneuverability
dont worry, no one can aim ADENs at least the 30mm ones.
Probably something we have in common, even if the name is different :p
Speed dumping is about the same in my experience, but the T-2 has muuuch more powerful engines so it can pick up speed again just that bit quicker, also helps the T-2 is just flat out faster than the Jag, so you’ve got much more energy to play with.
Tbh it’s just a massive skill issue on my part, I get on really well in my spits and sea venom with the hispanos, I just can’t aim the adens. No idea why, maybe it’s just the faster speeds involved?
Tbh I kinda struggle with the lack of tracers on the 25s too, usually waste most my ammo tap firing in hope of a kill
I think so, the Hispano’s do great because lots of it is based on stall shots and low speed reversals etcetera, they also retain good velocity out to 1km.
Meanwhile ADENS are quick, snap-shots and they aren’t suited for that. In the Swift F.7 the ADENS are really easy because you spiral people, use them in a Harrier or Jag and its a struggle.
The 25’s go an extra 300m/s maybe you are aiming them based on the name being ADEN and you subconsciously think they must be slow (because they usually are)
They are closest to probably to a vulcan. Not got them however i just remember a defyn video comparing them.
25s on the Gr7 are awesome. I’ve gotten more gun kills on the Gr7 than any other jet. You just point and shoot. Lack of tracers is definetly a bit of an issue, but compared to the 30s, my god they arent even close.
If the FA2 had 25s, Id struggle with loadout. As it has 30s, AMRAAM every single time
