Kings of Battle - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 2)

now you know why we do not dedicate our lives here in this thread ^^

The last time I cleaned the thread it took me 4 hours… so… yeah, that is time I could have been dealing with other more important forum matters

My mistake i was confusing the Kii class with the IJN Kaga, Tosa class battleship, but as with the others, she was converted. Definitely would be worth then having them in their laid configuration as you suggested.

Type 45’s are the best air defense destroyers, but all British ships are under-armed in the VLS/ASHM department. Even the upcoming T26’s have a laughable number of VLS cells in comparison to the Arleigh-Burke class, let alone these new SK Cruiser-destroyers. Its strange considering lengthening the hulls and adding more VLS is probably cheaper than operating numerous SSN’s

Then stop playing it, specially if you become that salty over a game.

Brazil would have all layers of the tier being Brazilian vehicles, but in the case of the top tier, it would be the Leopard 2 from Portugal

Anyway, i hope gaijin didn’t let the French navy on hold for long just after adding it…

We have half a navy (where coastal? Can’t help cap).

I think almost laid is an okay category, but where does that end does it confirm things like Alsace, G-3 (although that was ‘probably laid’), Kii etcetera. Or does it go onto things like the N-3 class, Super Yamato, Montana and whatever that insane soviet one was that would definitely then be added.

As i told you before, Alsace can have a place in WT only if Gaijin accept paper ship.

Alsace never left the study office.

No chance of that at this point, DMM Games announced they were developing it two years and three days ago ( 【特報】陸・空に続く海の新プロジェクト「海軍軍備補充計画」立案! - War Thunder (ウォーサンダー)- DMM GAMES ), right after having developed the Type 74 tank and F-4EJ.

More recently, Bvvd announced in an interview w/ 4gamer.net ( https://www.4gamer.net/games/216/G021602/20221207023/ ) that Yamato would be added to WT Mobile before being introduced here. She 's already in the files there, along w/ the two other battleships they have left to add before that game moves into player-controlled aircraft carriers( some of which, btw, were added here in WT as AI units while that game only had them in the files - during it 's first beta test ! )

WTM 's major update will likely go live in the next three weeks or so, bringing Yamato w/ it. So technically it might appear here anytime after that - the specific " when " still unknown.

See look people he feeds of your comments

If you don’t respond to him he won’t talk back

Mid next year would be my guess. I think some of the TTs need a little more maturing first

I know, but the same applies to Kii class. this is what I’m saying, having laid down be the basis is difficult for nations like France and Japan who were realistic about what they could build. Given that the USSR laid everything Stalin thought looked good it gives them a certain area of advantage there.

Infact, it was the question of the H-39 which clarified the " laid down but incomplete " rule for naval additions ( [QA] Answers from the developers - News - War Thunder ):

Q. Will there be projects for series H battleships for Germany in the game? They were laid, but were soon dismantled. The battleship Bismarck will not be able to withstand Yamato and Iowa on equal terms. We would like to see the H-39 project.
We consider as possible the addition of similar ships, those that were laid down, but were not completed in reality.

Point proven :)
