If they added AMRAAM to somethings but not all. Several additions would be competitve.
If they were added to all (Fox 3 that is) then theyd be mitigated and so the platform would decide the outcome of the fight more times than not. Probably still change the Dynamic, depending on how they modeled them though/how easy they were to defeat.
The bigger hope would be for CM overhaul (seperating Flares and Chaff) and ECM to come at the same time. Thsoe would change a lot at top tier.

Unrelated but I didn’t know there was a like limit per day. I am close to reaching it.
Both the radar and lightwave (IR) missles have 14km max range but the IR ones have an effective of 7~8 BUT can still reach 14km since both missiles are the exact same just different sensor. Reason for lower range on the IR is due to the accuracy of the IR+visible light sensor at max 14km but can still reach that range.

To be fair im really against amraams cause at this rate by the time i reach top tier (im only one vehicle away from rank 6 rn) unless i get a premium, the game is gonna be finished.
I mean look at ground, there is barely anything left for it, mabye a rank or two if they push into things like T-14s, chally 3s etc
It just seems scary how fast everything is moving and its almost like war thunder is trying to change from what we all know to a modern day top gun style game, remember when war thunder was about ww2 and they said they wouldn’t go past the Korean war or mabye vietnam at a push?

Any of my naval enjoyers know which is the next best thing to go for out of Invincible, Dreadnought and Colossus?
Just played a little naval when the Half French navy (noob navy player) was released, should go back on it one day, but hard to be motivated with nothing interesting in top of the line…
