I’ll be willing to bet some GE that we are gonna get the F-18 in december anyway, the F-15s and Su-27s carry wayy more missiles than the current top tiers, plus with the addition of AMRAAMs seeming imminent i highly doubt we would see an F-15 with (up to four or six i think) AMRAAMs, it would wipe the floor even at 12.7

Whilst an F-18 wouldnt be much of a step up in performance from the F-16 but would also provide a good starting point for AMRAAMs at either 12.3 or 12.7 (could only carry four i think but could be limited easier than the F-15 due to hardpoint layout)

Yea if the Typhoons are out then the F-15 totally are as well.

But the F-18 for the US is odd as yet again it’s another US jet

To be fair, a lot of stuff should have been out already. We weren’t even ready for the F-14A IMO, it would be better to take a break with the new vehicles, and improve some of the game mechanics, or fill in gaps in certain tech trees.

Purely for my own taste in gameplay but - With the addition of the Aardvark to the USA tree carrying an absolutely insane bomb load - is it possible (not asking if we’ll see them soon, just if it’s something that hasn’t been denied yet) that we’d see something like V-Force bombers?

Well the Russians can get the Mig 29K and the chinese can get J-10 and other nations have things to get as well

USA - F-18A/C
USSR - Mig 29K
GER - F4F Ice ( maybe a trials F-18)
UK - CF-18 ( maybe Shar FA.2 or Torn CSP)
JAP- XF-2A (without AESA)
ITA- no idea (did they use F16Cs?)
FRA - no idea ( possibly an upgrade with MICAs)
CHI - J10
SWE - JAS 39
ISR- IAI Lavi?, F16C Barak?

Thats a possible roster for aircraft coming next update i guess

Yeah but with AMRAAMs the F15 would be insanely powerful given its a literal missile bus, i could see it coming Q2 next year tho like the F16C did

Is there much of a difference between 9.12 and 29K? I heard it was mainly the low speed thrust bc of carrier takeoffs

SHar FA.2 is more likely than CF-18 imo, if CF-18 comes I feel it would be a squadron vehicle for America or something.

Italy, France, USSR and USA I highly doubt we’ll see recieve new jets.
Those are all really capable jets.
Germany has just gotten MiG-29G so maybe nothing for them.

This is all assuming ARH isn’t coming as people are speculating. Remember nothing’s confirmed and there’s nothing to say UK and Swedens new jets will come w/ AMRAAMs. We’ll just have to see

Remember the mods have been suggesting that something big is coming i december, plus russia and usa will almost definitely get something, they are the big two, and germany cam get the F4F ice as its not gonna be hard to remodel the current F4F and slap some amraams on it

Nah, he said that nations who didn’t recieve something big this update will naturally get something next, or something to that effect.
No news on AMRAAMs or or anything beyond datamined loadouts and models in the CDK that’s been there since the start of the year
