Kings of Battle - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 1)

True and likely the Strv 122B+ at some point. The model of that thing appeared in one of those big CDK leaks from 1-2 years back.

If they do, we might’ve seen some of the ships that will serve that purpose:

For Japan, it might be Fuso-class, IJN Yamashiro

Which appeared in the 2.7.0.55 leaks along w/ SMS Nassau:

Oops, my bad. I knew it got leaked back then, must have read it on that list than.

That would be a nice premium BB

Doubt they gonna release rank VI naval premium yet.

i agree this is a really good guess, but we have to take in count that in the case of israel the Barak II never carried Aim-120s and the israelis never adapted the Barak II Platform to carry Aim-120s, the Only ARH missile that the Barak II could carry is the First Rafael Derby variant and i hope that gaijin respect that + they should give the Barak II the historical missile loadout only Aim-9Ls as first IR missile, the Python-4 as the second IR missile with IRCCM technology and the last missile the Derby, they should remove the 9P, 9M and the Aim-7M because is not historical accurate, right now is a ficticious loadout made by gaijin.

Yeah, that would be the sensible thing to do. Placeholder is fine short term, but bad long term

remember that the Radar from the F-16I SUFA is in the game files right now, which is the AN/APG-68 V9, the SUFA is the only AMRAAM capable F-16 in the israeli service.

Ehm… What?
Got a screenshot by any chance?

Yes, for place holder is fine for the moment but it cannot be forever, this takes away originality from the jet and brings out that unique touch that makes it different from the rest, which is exactly what attracts players who know how to appreciate every detail of the jet.

That would be perfect, we already have IJN Fuso in game. so its premium “copy” does make sense.

But Im not sure if they add 7.0 ship into V Rank. Those premium BBs they added in Sons of Atilla are all 6.3 or 6.7

there is!! the AN/APG-68 V9 thats the radar from the F-16I Sufa

Gajin might consider premium pack battleship rank V from UK & Italy but not sure add battleship premium rank 5 for japanese next major update ?

I guess new battleship toptier rank 6 from royal navy gajin might consider next major update too

I guess maybe premium pack battleship 6.7 from japanese

Next major update maybe new battleship toptier 7.0 or 7.3 in rank 6 ?

Do we know the specs of the radar? I want the sufa so much. The fuel tanks looks so good. Either that or barak block 30 would be the perfect jets for israel

The fact that both of these leaked BB 's are of classes already present ingame is indeed a mark in favour of the possibility that they’ll be their respective TT 's Rank 5 prems, since all the current ones are too.

As for the BR, it 's already highly unusual that the introduction of the new top Rank did not coincide w/ the addition of new top-BR vehicles, or a new top BR. That could be explained by the ships which will comprise that possibly being intended for a later update - probably this upcoming one, since the gap between fall updates is so short - which would in turn explain why prem BB 's for JPN and GB, if they are these leaked ones, have not yet been made available - the increase in BR ceiling needed for them to be added hasn’t occurred yet.

I keep saying it, but we’re really close to the end of battleship additions - the next top BB Japan can get has 16in guns, and via WT Mobile we already know that Yamato is practically ready for addition, signalling the end of gun-based naval toptiers.

Also something worth remembering, Britain doesnt have a Premium Heavy Cruiser yet either. So that might factor into getting a slightly higher BR Premium BB instead and/or a Premium Heavy Cruiser.

But yeah, Britain has a few options left that would probably comfortably take it to 7.7 BBs. But after that, definetly going to be interesting. No idea how they’ll seperate Gun based Naval from Missile based Naval. Different tree?

probably new rank with higher BR/BR wall tho some BBs should be safe from early missile DDs for the most part.

If Bravy and Douglas are any indication, they won’t. W/o missions that allow ships w/ these armaments to use their advantage of accuracy at significant range, missile-armed ships decades newer than battlecruisers will still comfortably die to them, as similarily-sized ships already present do.
But retaining their advantage of accuracy, and ability to deliver significant HE filler( in some cases, anyway - sorry SeaCat ) they’re usually better than those similarily-sized ships.

The most likely course seems to be missile-armed ships being placed above their weight class, but not at the top - atleast as they’re introduced.

The GB tt might be the one to give us a clearer view of how ARH AShM -armaments will affect the placement of the ships equipped w/ them, if it 's some different effect to the " SACLOS " types we have now. Daring-classe BAP Ferre leaked, and all that.
