I don’t see that happening at all for the same reasons @Morvran pointed out with them not separating things in the past. Heck the premium zone with all aspects versus flareless jets is still a thing and I don’t see that changing anytime soon either, if ever.
I also don’t see AESA mattering if we go into the realm of ARH as, AFAIK, those missiles don’t use the onboard radar for anything but inertial guidance till the ARH radar activates (which is non-AESA for the most part)?
I’m gone for a week and another leak.
Gaijin, please add flying tic tacs or other UAP and then someone in a SAC somewhere will release documents because they don’t like how they perform and we have instant UFO disclosure thanks to War Thunder.
I just don’t get it. Instead of just playing a different nation for once, they go onto the forums and perform the wildest mental gymnastics in order to claim vehicles for their main nation. It’s so transparent and so sad.
I might hope R-73/R-73E on MiG-29A (9-12A) & MiG-29 (9-13) instead R-60 but remove R-27ER/R-27ER1 and add R-73 on Yak-141, MiG-29 (9-13) & Yak-141 up to 12.3
And I guess dev might consider attack aircraft 11.7 rank 8 from USMC, another 4th gen infrared homing Air-to-Air Missile from JASDF, PLAAF/PLANAF & EU and battleship premium rank 5 for Japan, UK & Italy
Why would you do this? F-16 / 14 are already superior. R27ER vs R-73 would be a bad change, expecially since Mig 29 FM got nerfed, you don’t want to furball F-16 anyways. R-27ER gives it at least a chance to compete. Otherwise the 29 would be sandwiched between long range F-14 missile trucks and op furballing F-16 spam.
As long as its in reach (-1 BR) of the top tier BR, it will always be sucked up. In Air RB, there’s always a huge player bubble at max BR waiting for games. Everyone -1 BR will be uptiered, almost always. So a BR decrease of one or two steps won’t mean anything.
