Kings of Battle - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 1)

No it doesn’t, but if some exported vehicles go to some trees, and some go to others, like, if it goes off of the country the vehicle came from, give Britain the Hunter F.58, if it goes off of friends of the country, give China the Lightning F.53

I disagree, it should be part of the USSR tree.

The T-64B in the game is still used by the Ukrainian army.

How many vehicles have been placed in a logical sense compared to vehicles placed randomly?

Though Ukraine in the Soviet TT, right now, is just a bad idea, very bad and has been for much of the games life. Ukrainian vehicles could go a lot of places. But none should be the soviet TT at the moment, If Poland comes, then that could be a reasonable solution

Eh about 4:3

Ukrainian vehicles have no relations with Poland. It should be part of the USSR tree again. As an example, look at the Czech SPAA. In the worst case scenario, Gaijin could fill Polish vehicles into the USSR tree.

Bums me out that the Lightning F.53 is unavailable and the F.6 can’t use those retractable rocket pods

Yeah, it’s really annoying a lot of vehicles are being removed for pretty much no reason (I’m looking at you SPS-K)

15+ placed logically compared to 3-5 randomly.

When was the last time you turned on the news?

Any Ukrainian who hears about getting some their nations vehicles added to the game, is going to be quite mad about it going to the Soviet TT, for obvious reasons.

Poland may not be the best place, but certainly a place to put some of their stuff. As a Pseduo warsaw pact nation

I’ve got it and its interesting, but 99% of the time its just a Lighning F6. Its in desperate need of Red Top love though. I’d play that quite a bit, as its actually quite good fun in SB after the new EC brackets, but the Red Top performance limits them exclusively to being used against Su-25s or those not paying attention. In a dogfight they are worthless.

If anything, i’d love to see a Sea Vixen with intergrated rocket pods added, now that would be fun

I mean, as long as they don’t add ukrainian planes it would be just keyboard warriors and tanks ramming eachother

Randomely placed vehicles/ones that contradict other’s implimentation: Ju-86, Lightning F.53, Hunter F.58, Wirraway, Boomerang Mk i/ii, Beaufort, Beaufighter Mk 21, DB-7, Hudson, Avenger Mk ii, Corsair Mk ii, Martlet Mk IV, literally all lend lease premium, French vehicles in Brit tree and many more

Oh man, I’d love that, I’d fucking pay for the Vixen again just to get those integrated rocket pods
Rockets are such great tools for planes like the Vixen, they can work as guns as a last ditch effort, they can be used as makeshift flares, they allow you to get points in ARB if your team leaves you no kills…

Yep, Id buy it instantly. Though its probably about time we got a Sea Vixen for the TT. I get why they may have wanted to not do that (no guns on a fighter is a messy thing for the TT) but if Red tops become full power. I.e limited all aspect. Then why not

They were a part of USSR, why would they be in the different tree? Also we don’t know consequences of these events, so imo it’s better not to rush with the addition of this nation at all.

Even when part of the USSR, they were not exactly treated well and dont exactly have fond memories of that era. Even if the game stopped at 1991 and the tree was only USSR. I can see that in itself being cause for some contension. If some consider Korea part of Japan tree a bad idea, then Ukraine being part of the Soviet/Russian Tree is just worse. Especially since last year.

But that is just getting off topic. Best guess, they wont add any Ukrainian vehicles. Especially when we remember who owns Gaijin

Ju-86 - not in-game.
Lightning F.53 - British built jet sold to Pakistan what makes this randomly placed?
Hunter F.58 - I agree on this
Wirraway, Boomerang Mk i/ii - Indigenous build aircraft build by Australia makes sense in the British Tree is becoming a sub if you want a commonwealth Tree.
Beaufort, Beaufighter Mk 21 - British build aircraft what makes this randomly placed?
DB-7 Hudson - I agree on this.
Avenger Mk ii, Corsair Mk ii, Martlet Mk IV - Used by the British what makes this randomly placed?

If the user of the vehicle isn’t in-game it would make sense to place it in the nation they either bought it from or invested resources in the development of the vehicle (including upgrades). Great examples are the M1A1 AIM, C2A1, T-72M2, M60T and etc, however there are some exceptions which you mentioned like the T-90, F58 and more.

EDIT - JU-86 is in-game under the name B3C, however this is bought and used by Sweden.

They’d most likely have Nea Zealand with them anyway. However, I know even less about them. I did bare basic research so that doesn’t help.

Canada was the dominion I looked into the most and know for a fact it can stand on its own.

All American vehicles.
No one’s complaining about countries getting export vehicles period.
