The key point is that it gives Britian something. Would Sea Harrier FA.2 be better? it’s a bit of a side-grade. But I think the Tornado wins out.
The alternative is BAe Hawk 200 which would be cool.
I’d be happy with a BVR machine though, till we get something more powerful like Tornado.

True, but the Foxhunter, with AMRAAMs in TWS mode? You’d climb really fast to get to thinner air, blast off BVR missiles and retreat before it’s dogfight time. You’d be fine I think and if you need to notch - you’re still lethal as it’s an ARH.

I have a few reasons why I want FA2. But those are unique to SB and would put it far ahead of the F3.
But in other gamemodes. its a toss up. Though I do think the ability to viff and dominate the ultra low speed enviroment might at least mean that something on your tail isnt a death sentence

I believe the blue vixen is going to make the Foxhunter look outdated and the FA2 is gunna climb really well. Usually outclimbed the F3 IRL
