Well one was designed by/for sweden and the other was designed by/for Germany, britain and Italy.

There hasn’t really been a change of heart regarding the commonwealth. Britain still isn’t a commonwealth tree.

Iirc Smin said that they will just put vehicles from commonwealth nations wherever they feel like. Could be britain, germany, the US etc.

Please not another premium ground pound for US. I know you’re probably right but not looking forward to it. That spot should go to an air to air focused premium imo.

Most likely, news regarding the next update will begin to appear next week or in a week, with a small probability that rank 8 for armored vehicles may appear

There is not a small possibility that it will happen. It is either a definite or an impossibility. There is no in between.

At this point rank VIII is a matter of “when” and not “if”.

That isn’t what I meant, however yes, that is indeed true.

China (Taiwan side) can get F-16 Block 20 MLU (late) with targeting pod and guided munitions, F-16V Block 70/72 with all the good stuff and even FC-K-1 in A and C variants.

They also have a Mirage 2000 that can come soon.

I’d say Gripen E, Rafale, F-15EX, Su-35.

About Gripen tho… apart from being a delta jet it has very little in common with EF2000. It’s like comparing F-15 to the F-16. Both are jets but one is heavy air superiority fighter while the other is a light fighter.

Also early Gripen variants weren’t as capable as you think they were. Same goes for F-15 and Su-27.

Yeah but he was talking about CAS platforms and Taiwanese Mirage 2000 had that ability removed.

That’s literally the latest Gripen E/F variant, the 4++ platform. What we’re getting in WT is Gripen C which makes a massive difference. Especially if we got it with early armament such as RB74 and RB99 (AIM-9L and AIM–120B).

latet armarments would be similar to a EF2000 right?

Ye Meteor, IRIS-T.

Gripen CANNOT use Rb 71.

How would the absence of this “target painter” limit the radar of the JAS39 compared to the JA37?

DovBleg!
