Gr9 didn’t have AMRAAM, no radar. sea Harrier FA2 is our best bet for early AMRAAM

At the time it was added, Harrier GR.7/Harrier II AV-8B would’ve been the only modern thermal imager, CAS platform with guided missiles for USA. It was a pivotal aircraft and I think still is. It caused massive outcries
Though Gr9A with all its important bells and whistles could be good fun

My #1 recommendation to any minor nation players complaining about not having a good fighter. Grind out either russia or usa this ensures you will always have something to play if the minor nation you play doesnt have anything decent

My hope is it having a radar that outclasses everything for the next year or so. But yeah, still going to be a standoff truck. But might be able to defend itself in a close in fight
I might expect R-60M stock & gajin consider R-73 replacement R-60 but removed R-27ER on MiG-29 (9-13) and increased to 12.3 BR, and Yak-141 up to 12.3 BR because could add R-73
But F-16A Block 15 ADF (Air National Guard) armed AIM-120A and F-16A Block 15 ADF (Aeronautica Militare) fired AIM-120B & AIM-120C ?

AIM-9Ms would give it help for sure, but if you’re in IR range, you’re already likely dead.
Go study and come back in a year or two and maybe the eurofighter will be in the game
