I’m just getting really bored of playing ground as it doesn’t matter what countries I face but they all feel the same and I know that there is more interesting vehicles but no one seems to use them.

What vehicles that are more interesting are you speaking about as the post is very vague? Rare event vehicles, premiums?
There is nothing stopping you from using an interesting vehicle to change things up, or build a lineup of a specific BR but include a low BR vehicle to challenge you.
Players generally at all BRs are going to use a vehicle that is usually the best type for that situation.
