I don’t believe so, no.
It’s the most reasonable response you could have got. I fail to see anything wrong
Unless you’ve read this as meaning a personal insult of needing training wheels or similar, it sounds like sensible advice in general as a wheeled vehicle with a gun stabiliser (fast and easy-aim shooting) seems the easiest way to complete the task
It was meant as an insult, and that’s how I took it. I completed the task on my second game this morning using an M4A3 (76) W, which has neither stabilisers or wheels, just experience from destroying 132, 647 enemy players!
It was nothing but solid advice and correct information. I have no idea how you managed to take that as an insult.
I wasn’t asking for advice about which vehicle to use as I had already destroyed 26/30 and the original post was about why kills were not being counted. Why would I want advice when I have already destroyed 131,134 enemy vehicles?
You can’t expect every forum user to know this. Especially if you just have shown that you have used vehicles that won’t progress the task, advice then comes naturally as a follow up on what vehicles you can switch to instead of those you already used that won’t work for the task.
Because after all that time spent in game you seemingly still don’t know how the tasks work?
Battlepass challenges have the most strict rules of all the various jobs. Wagers have the most relaxed rules. For wagers, it is enough to have rank3 present in lineup.
It is a pitty that the task rules have not been standardized to this simple model.
Where do you get the idea that the vehicles I was using were not progressing the task, I had already stated that I had destroyed 26 of the 30 required, does that sound like I needed advice on the subject. Try reading the whole thread.
Thank you for the answer to the question I was asking.
I defy you or anyone else to know all the rules of this game.
Because you were using rank II vehicles which will not progress the task as it requires getting kills with a rank III vehicle for it to count.
I did.
Alreaady moving the goal posts. The requirement is nicely spelled out in the task description. The fact that you still don’t know the tasks can vary between “use a rank 3 vehicke in the match” and “use a rank 3 vehicke to do whatever the task wants” tells me enough. And your overly defensive replies and aggressive behaviour is not a good sign of your character.
This is the interesting part: I would be surprised IF you actually ever increased the counter of THIS challenge with a rank II tank. I made the same observation with the torpedo kill challenge: Only kills from the rank 3 boats counted. Subsequent rank 2 kills didn’t.
And in all fairness: Yes, it seemed obvious you needed advice because what you presented as a bug is working as intended. You even made it clear you don’t have time to waste. His advice was the best he could have given you with the info and preference you provided so far. Because you could have collected the 24 kills with your first tank (rank3). And might want to use more eligible vehicles in the lineup to get it done faster.
The exact wording for the Challenge requirement are ,'Player’s Vehicle rank III and above Ground vehicles
The exact wording for the Daily Medium Task requirement is, 'Players Vehicle Light Tank, Medium tank rank III and above (in this instance)
Yet in the Daily Medium Task the use of Rank III, Rank II, Rank I all contribute to the score and task.
Perhaps you could explain where in the Challenge description it says anything about only using rank III vehicles?
Then there is a big regarding that task. Unless you show me a screenshot of the exact task because sometimes the task itself influences this criterium.
They simply don’t work by the same rules.
The challenges have two different wordings, which usually signals which type it is:
Exactly this. How some people fail to realise this is baffling. Even after having it explained tot hem by several different people.
It was not meant as an insult. If you want an insult I will give you many.
The M4A3 has a stabiliser. It says on the model. It only works until 16(?) kph which is a lot lower than the 30 you need for the challenge.
