Killcams... useless and unfun?

Are you stupid? That’s the exact OPPOSITE of what I said.

Lessening repositioning → better allowing you to play intelligently and flank → more games without deadlocks where it’s just 2 lines crashing into each other at point-blank range → less boring matches.

Nobody is advocating for the camera that shows the shell killing you to be removed. There’s no reason for it to be.

I love how people are joking about this, you’re not the first, proving that this is a feature commonly used for that terrible gameplay.

Have you ever played the really old Port Novorossiysk if I may ask?

Would you look at that, same map, same tactic, same result.
Ignoring flanks is a major skill issue and as such flanking should stay in the game as a way to punish criminally bad teams. Sadly Gaijin is removing viable flanking options just to cater to wallet warriors which have 0 game/map knowledge. Making maps smaller is the change that’s only being praised by people with questionable skill level.

You think of this version ?

This map had no variety and possibility to flank, as there’s literally 3 roads present on the map. One or two people could control whole “flanks” as routes ended up in a chokepoint that was more often than not just a junction between roads.

Exactly. Promoting a non active gameplay style, giving a boring and annoying map.

Extremely small and shrunk down maps tend to do that.
Which is why so many people are against those changes as it kills variety.

Which is why I think we need more maps where you have options to flank in, and less features that punish you for doing so.
