But hey “lets balance brimstones because they would be unbalanced with FnF” (which I agree with) but when are you planning to balance KH38s or remove them from the game.
You sat on Vikhrs for 4 years before “attempting” to solve that mess and look what it caused, Heli EC to be removed, power crept helis to “compete with KA-50s” because you couldnt do the right thing and remove them. some weapons simple shouldnt be in WT and KH38s are one of them
The SP of Kh-38s are already doubled, which is why I have zero CAS aircraft in my top BR tank lineups. Too expensive for the results.
Vikhrs were not added in 2014, 5 years before 2019. Vikhrs for ground RB have been solved since 2019: ADATS.
Helis have never been power-crept cause the BR system prevents that, and anti-air systems capable of fragging helicopters at or beyond their range exist for all but Israel and maybe Japan.
Kh-38s, Hammers, AGM-65s, and PGM_3s should be in War Thunder, and new SPAA will be added to deal with the platforms that fire these munitions in time.
Adding new SPAA is superior to further nerfing spawn points.
I think we mainly need stronger SPAA, as Rafale and F-15E/I can do the same (Albeit to a less effective degree)
Hopefully Gaijin cooks with whatever SPAA they’re bringing in.
SPAA wont solve the main issue as to why these munitions are broken. maps are congested af and make it easy to launch in quick succession with a lot being outside SAM ranges too.
I’m serious, the only SPAA/SAMs we can get are multi vehicle systems. even if gaijin said “for balance we will only have the missile system” but some standard radar functionality so its usable wont solve the fact that unless these can engage jets outside there munition ranges then nothing changes.
You still have congested maps making SAM camping impossible (easy target 9/10 games) you still have 1 premium lineups going off against this type of stuff (not just KH38s but AGMs too) SAM/SPAAs will not solve the bigger issue at hand here

And no, they balanced Ka-50 and Apache with the addition of 10km class SPAA to tech trees.
