KH-38 needs to be nerfed or removed. GRB is unplayable

Or the SL-ASRAAM Supacat or Sky Sabre

That’s some sexy looking vehicle, we can share though.

wonder when we are getting tanks with APS (with this i mean, top tier aps for majority of countries). It is already past the time of needing it to deal with things like kh-38.

Yeah, that would help too. One of the few things going for Britain top tier is the CR2BN

But why did they introduce KH-38 with any ground counter nowhere to be seen? Even when better SAMs might finally come, when will that be? Right now there’s not even a mention of that on any roadmap, no devblog, nothing. It might be many, many months ahead and KH-38 are making the game unplayable right NOW.

The fact the Su-34 was added in the same update they said this as justifcation for Brimstone nerfs:

Is just hilarious

Rules are for thee, not for me

Don’t you have some connections to game mods who might urgently forward the issue? The exactly same reason G used for the premature Brimstone nerf, totally applies 2-fold for KH-38.

It can’t stand like this :( Why don’t they notice?

I know how to annoy Gunjob to forward bug reports. But I have no more sway than you do.

But we tried to argue that KH-38s are OP and should be nerfed for the same reasons as Brimstones were nerfed but they refused to even listen, let alone take action. Right now im just trying to get SAL-Only Brimstone 2s added to at least give us half decent AGMs even if they arent FnF

kh38s werent that bad when it was only 2 of them on a bad platform, but idk what gaijin was smoking when they decided 6 of them on a decent platform was ok

It has never been less than 4, and the “bad platform” is still an Su-25, with MAWS, one of the best optics in the game, R-73s, and fantasy damage model.

But regardless of what platform they have been on hardly matters because the missile is so far and away better than anything else, it could be launched from a standstill while outside SPAA range.

Being sub-sonic, with limited self defence (I.e no ARH) the Su-25SM3 was almost tolerable. It was vulnerable to anything flying and not just dedicated CAP or Multiroles (which werent hugely common back then) Still insanely powerful due to the lack of any meaningful SPAA for other nations, but, just about balanced.

It was the SU-34 that totally and completely wiped out any semblence or even pre-text of balance. A strong airframe, that could take care of itself whilst sending a hail of now 6x KH-38s down stream, and nothing, not even a flicker for adding stronger SPAA to other nations. All in the same update that Britain gets denied one of its principle weapon systems because “it would outrange SPAA”

And its only gotten worse since

It was added prior to ARHs, which in my opinion were the bare minimum to prevent Su-25s from completely wiping the ground maps before CAP could come online (GSB, which is all I care about).

Yeah, but only just. so just a short period of time being reliant of SARH. until ARH were in place to hard counter it. But yeah. Anything more than the Su-25SM3, was totally and completely unnecessary without better SPAA

Can people use existing threads?

Yall create multiple threads of the same topic, they get rightfully flagged as spam, then yall go “gaijin is silencing me, i must be right🤓” (even though it is players who flag)

What do you want instead, an AGDS? There’s no way in hell a SLAMRAAM, Stout, or even a damn Centurion would be able to stop a volley of these… Because even Russian PESAs on the Pantsir platform (and AESAs on anything from the last decade) or the 9K332 from a little over 2 decades ago are still receiving upgrades while almost all contemporary nations fail year after year to make a versatile air defense design.
It’s asking for a solution to a problem that hasn’t been addressed for the last 40 years.

The only “equals” that have been named so far were the Chaparral, the Stout and MSL, and current systems in game like the Crotale are quite literally the extent of most nations’ SPAA efforts. We’re still 2-3 decades behind in Eastern SPAA to begin with…

If there are any Western alternatives you can name, go ahead. If not… Why complain about one of two nations that has a huge fixation on mobile SHORAD systems having good mobile SHORAD systems?

SU25SM3: moderate
SU34: sevre
SU34+SU30SM: very sevre
I really dont know whats the point of adding more and more broken-CAS options

Its an interesting point. We need counters. But there are no practical vehicles for almost all nationss, whicn might be introduced. Except stationary multi-vehicle SAM batteries with radar units, power units, and several launchers positioned around it. These possibly can’t be introduced into WT. Just imagine you need to deploy a multi vehicle SAM battery on a maps like ‘Factory’^^

I’ve got no ideas what can be done to stop these Strike jets using KH-38.

They have confirmed new top tier spaa will be added to all nations this year. They also said that they are testing ways to make multi-vehicle spaa work.

Real question is which update this year will have it.

we’re really not though lmao, most countries consider spaa systems to be obsolete stationary sites offer better capabilities with only marginal increase in vulnerability, what stationary sites cant do(offensive use) aircraft cover quite well. also as far as the game go most top tier systems are underperfoming to real life.
