Depends when you pop smoke. If you pop smoke during the initial seconds after launch, there’s a good chance the kh38 will miss. Popping smoke halfway through it’s flight decreases that chance. Doing it 5-10 seconds before impact will get rid of any chance of the kh38 missing.
That’s the main issue. depending on the duration when it’s above the clouds, the drift will be great enough where it not go in the general area where the target is.
Can you explain this further? GNSS allows for the agm to stay on track. If it stays on track, then the chance of getting a tracking increases. I’ll do further testing.
I’ll do more comprehensive testing, but from what I’m seeing right now, live server kh38ML need a laser designator 3-10 seconds before impact to get a kill. If
Your right, I shouldn’t have used that word however the issue with brimstones is they drift a lot which requires you using the laser designator before it reaches the target, even if the target is stationary.
Yep, it’s over. Of course on a real battle conditions are different but this is going to be annoying once people start to master it.
Yep. Even the MT is enough to take out the radar station with extreme ease, I’ve seen it on the dev server, it won’t be much different once it goes live. Insane zoom, insane thermals, you can see everything with it, MT shouldn’t have a seeker view at all…

Gaijin devs wet their pants wishing it was real. It’s their fantasy wonder weapon after all.

They believe russian marketing lies but claim a NATO vehicle is actually capable of doing something a 1950s jet was able to do a marketing lie despite perfect documentation.
but no no there’s no russian bias in this russian video game
It’s GNSS. You just need to move, an Su-30/34 would already be dead from the SLM by the time the missile gets close to turn on a laser.

IOG was tweaked as well. Now it doesn’t really matter for the MT. There’s next to no drift now.
If it gets a target tracking lock and loses it, then it doesn’t revert to GNSS. It reverts to IOG. IOG now has very little drift. Follows the same logic as a laser guided weapon gaining a laser target then losing it, it reverts to IOG. This was notable in the AASM where it would quite accurately approach the target, if it lost the target it would begin to drift.
Under real conditions, I have not had it miss a smoked target that wasn’t actively moving in the smoke to escape it.
It was far too close range to be worth it, for clarity. But it did work to a certain extent. Primarily by hitting close enough to kill it, not direct hits.
Honestly the KH38MT should’ve been added in this update because of the new SPAAs that can counter it not a year ago with the only SPAA that can actually counter it is a Pantsir which they sit in the same nation, it was a big mistake from Gaijin and it still is.

is this rage bait ?
because you can already do this in live server ? they didnt buff the ML it can already do this in game. lol
Oh no, you can’t deny the GNSS actually buffed the ML
i was able to fire from behind the mountain 1 year ago , in the su25sm3. idk how the GNSS even buffs it ? because u can already do it in game without GNSS being mentioned in the stat card. i can show you right now in the live server.
12km??? the kh38mt could already go 30km before. the only thing restricting it was the TGP hard cap of 20km, but that was moved to 30km for all planes a few updates ago. And you can already point lock fire it outside of 14-18km. so literally nothing changes here.

I’ve noticed that everytime Russian WR goes down they add something gamebreaking, like the best dart in the game (object 292) and the Pantsir & the KH38MT on the SU25SM3 which every Content creator that played it at that time said that it was Overpowered.
