I used them enough to know theyre extremely niche and definetively not anything to rely on to rutinely score kills. Wouldnt definetively take them on Bis instead of any other missile.
There’s so much that’s flawed with the aircraft, which makes it stand out negatively among 11.0 aircraft. I cannot speak on behalf of the F-5E as I have not chosen to grind it yet, but the Kfir lacks countermeasures, a usable radar, a useful RWR, quantity and quality of missiles, among other things.
The Airframe itself is great and it flies well, but when compared to the MiG-21’s at 11.0, it lacks severely. The countermeasure location is also very frustrating and can occasionally get you killed due to its position.

the F5E has only aim9J’s I believe it is, and 45 CMs itself, as well as having a radar that is for the gun only.
The Kfir kanard is rightly equal at the same BR, though, as you say I wont speak on the behalf of the kfir, as I do not have it.
Eh not really, the Kfir has a far better engine which allows it to do better in the dogfights, as well as the fact the mig21s guns are unbelievably bad like they suck man the 23MM russian gun is horrible.
I said the same about the J35XS and had folks giving me dogs abuse xD it is what it is, the kfir is still a strong multi role capable plane thats the thing. it can do fine at its Br in A2A it just doesn’t have the same match impact as say, an F4E at 11.3
I hate it because the Kfir’s airframe is promising. If the vehicle simply had a some kind of All-Aspect missile instead of it’s Aim-9G, it would feel so much better.
From what I can see and my Friend’s perspective on the F-5E, it appears that the real issue is planes like the Mig-21 and Mig-23 with all-aspect missiles being at 11.0. It doesn’t help that the F-5E FCU is only 11.3 and gets 4 All-Aspect missiles (with 2 Python 3)
From using both, I can comfortably say these two guns feel similar. Back when the SPS-K came out, I was using them nearly all the time.
Nah the F5E is quite a lot better than them in most regards, the draw back is the missiles thats it.
The F5E has good enough engines that it can accelerate and keep up with the mig21s acceleration (just not top end speed) same with mig23, so it can actually out rate them in a dogfight providing you play it right.
The issue is now everyone just looks at missiles rather than the whole package.
Ive used both as well, ive got france to near top tier and britain to top tier all use adens. As well as isreal to nearly the first mirage clone.
The aden cannons are brilliant if you learn the velocity, the issue with the GSH is you cannot make errors with it, for me its a last ditch thing, the adens are a go to.
Atm 10.7 would be a fine br for it, if we get like 15.0 then maybe bump it up a bit, but currently its just eh, like a kfir canard cant really do much against a f4s phantom that keeps its alt bc the moment the kfir climbs for it, the f4s will radar missile it, the same to a lesser extent with the mig23s

J-35XS - 6x Aim-9P with IRST slaving = 10.3
J-7D - 4x excellent PL-5B = 10.7
Mirage IIIE - 2x magic, 1x R530 (not very useful but still) = 10.7
F-4EJ - 4x Aim-7E (still front attack missile), 4x Aim-9P = 11.0
F-5A(G) - 2x Aim-9L and better airframe (but worse engine) = 11.0
Would fit nicely with the F-8U-2, which has 4x Aim-9D (worse missiles, mostly in caged seeker during lock has but more of them)
i was thinking of getting it, test flew it and went “nah, im good”
Main issue is low missile quantity, and quality for the small quantity (at least mirage iiie has magic which are much better)
completely covered by it’s ridiculous engine signature and flight performance.

5x 1000lb for highest reward multiplier while still able to kill base,and only thing that beats me to base are 23ML with napalm and TAF,otherwise i am faster than anything else.
Just give kfir Gderot napalm. Would be more bearable at 11.0
Well knowing Gaijin speciality is to sell premium vehicles then implement new ones and nerf the older ones with higher BR the chance they do last time with so called Decompression was implemented with 0 knowledge of the game it’s self the data they have is not mirroring the player skills base or the stats of the Vechicle it’s obvious how can Gaijin put at the same BR F-5C F-5E J-7E and many many more chances like this
Kfir Canard can’t fight at 11 BR is a joke on people that actually pay for Vechicles and trying to support the game like many chances that they implement they mirroring on Premium Vechicle the most why because you cant make disent SL and RP with normal Tech Tree vehicles so the time this chance was made they have already trying to sell Barak that is bigger patatoe from all 80$ premiums
It’s just a business with premium Vechicles and they know how to frustrate people they have practice doing it long time.
