i know this is going to trigger the mig/china/japan community but here goes. When is the python 4/5 going to be introduced??. I have noticed more that gaijin has been adding more IRCCM Missiles to certain nations but not to others who are in bad need Favoritism perhaps by the Dev’s or simple forgetfulness neither matters. When are we going to see the balancing that is so badly needed that is my question to Dev’s.
Care to give an example?

lol Russia/China/Japan either tech tree unlock or premium. I’ve noticed premium has started to show preferred treatment but another topic for later.

leading me down that rabbits hole. But, PL-5EII, R-73,AAM-3 from 12.7-up in both premium and tech tree scattered mind you but there. it seems someone in gaijin is hoping the community is ignorant in not noticing this but ya some do and hate it.

idk why u compare the python 4 with all these missile when it is literally better in all way and i remember they said somewhere that they are fine with the current missile in game and won’t add stuff like Python 4, R74 or Aim 9x until like 5 gen jet, might be wrong tho so don’t quote me on this.
unless there is proof of that statement it is still up in the air. one thing is for sure python 4 at least with IRCCM is needed for sure to balance out multiple JETS

So no… the BR increase is not what I want as someone that enjoys the aircraft.
The main difference from what I understand, between Python 4 and 5 is the seeker. Kinematically they are very similar.
It is almost guaranteed that the seekers on these next gen IR missiles wont be that good (Heck just look at them all in SAM form) their strength will be in their kinematic performance and less so their seeker performance (though hopefully they will be at least a slight upgrade in that regard)
Python-4 would be the strongest IR missile ingame by quite a margin, and whilst there is already MICA EM in-game (near identical kinematic performance to the MICA IR, the french equivalent to the Python-5), I really dont want to be dealing with the imbalance that would be Aim-9M vs Python-4. Aim-9M vs R-73 and Magic II is bad enough as it is.
Given the post names the Kfir C10 at 13.0, this would immediately result in a BR increase as one of the only reasons I can think of for it being 13.0 is 1) the lack of IRCCM and 2) the limited max AAM count. But its walking a fine line at the moment if you compare the Kfir C10 to something like the Sea Harrier FA2 at the same BR. Python-4s would certainly result in a BR of 13.7/14.0 at least
So what Im personally expecting to see…
Python 4 and Aim-9X block 1 added to a handful of jets, but still at quite a high BR and in the same update that adds ASRAAM, IRIS-T, Python-5, Aim-9X Block 2, etc etc just above them in BR. So they act as a bit of a transition weapon but not added in a vacuum. (kinda like how Aim-9L is balanced in relation to Python-3 and then Aim-9M) I would also not expect them on everything, much like how im not expecting and to be honest, hoping the Tornado GR4 does not get its missing ASRAAMs
well, python 4 will work for now since it does have IRCCM. Heaven forbid the mica is outdone by a Israeli made missile. plus kfir c.10 is lined up with them anyways due to matchmaking algorithm which has been proven to be biased, broken, outdated or whatever. Stated at the start of this topic this will be a trigger for some but it is what it is. There will need to be some balancing done for sure on all missiles in said mentioned nation jets. Its got to be done period. beside this isn’t a u topic its a community issue

Currently, Kfir C.10 can not naturally meet Rafale, assuming were talking about ARB.
Even if it could meet Rafales in full uptier, adding Python 4 to Kfir C.10 - you think now uptiers would be “balanced”, but what about downtiers?
What exactly would things like F-4J do against Kfir?
Flex with the fact that they don’t need an AESA radar and Fox-3s in this lobby to be cool.
But in reality we need decompression and not new weapons
Drip factor of Phantoms, while massive, wont defeat a Python 4 sadly.
Then we need copy with other br. Like Kfir C10 (AESA) or Kfir C10 (new cockpit fan) or Kfir C10 (golden Cassio)
Have you seen any Python 4s on the aircrafts? Exactly, humble Phantom doesn’t ask for praise, it just does the job.
