Kfir C.10 (B60) - The final upgrade

Some sites claims it can carry 6

2 Derbys and 2 Python 4s is 100% a 13.7 loadout, P4s kill any dogfighting you may try to do with it and Derbys can ensure some capability out to 15km.

With the current state of Derby’s, it absolutely is not 13.7 material. It has less range than an Aim-120A/B, and the current iteration of the Python 4 lacks dual plane G-pull. Not to mention you’re still stuck with a lower than average countermeasure count and worse flight performance than the C.7. It’s a 13.0-13.3 aircraft if it gets Python 4s really, and supposedly only 2 of them at that…

They’re wrong.

And those 2 will be incredibly easy kills, the IRCCM should be very similar to the TY-90 and very hard to flare. The Derby is no 120 but it’s not like it falls out of the sky after 7km, it’s useable just not the best.

How do u know?
There is no info about that and i searched all over the internet
Only source i found to how many missiles it can carry is from janes site that send reporter to the paris airshow but i couldnt read it cuz u need to be subscribed
I asked chat gpt to dig in that site and it said it could carry 6 ofc its not a source so if u know someone with acces to janes site or been in the paris airshow let me know

Then I challenge you to find a single image of it carrying more than 4 missiles, or actual sources indicating it could. Every source indicates 4 missile max, as the C.7 only has 4 pylons for mounting AAMs, and there isn’t a single source claiming the C.10 was upgraded beyond that. Its 4 missiles, a lackluster and low amount unfortunately.

Omg bro

As i said ofc chat gpt is not a source i couldnt finde an image so i asked him if he can find one and he send me to janes site which are very reliable but i couldnt enter cuz im not subscribed to their site so maybe they have a source/photo since they sended reporters to the paris airshow

Janes isn’t exactly the most reliable. Its considered a secondary source by gaijin developers because of this.

There are zero images of it having 6 missiles, the only one that “exists” is a photoshopped one

The absolute maximum it can have is 4, unless there is an upgrade that I’m unaware of.

Well there is a source saying it can carry only 4?
If so show me i didnt find one
And we know it has 9 pylons so it seems odd that it can carry only 4

U have a source that claims that? Cuz it has 9 pylons so its weird it can take only 4

I do not have a source, however every singular picture I have seen of not only the Kfir C.10 B60, but also the normal Kfir C.10 and Kfir 2000 never had above 4 AAMs. Hell, I don’t even think there was ever a Kfir with over 4 AAMs. All those different pylons are for things like bombs, targeting pods, ECM pods, etc…

Yes but maybe it can take more and there isnt a photo for that it makes since even more in the last upgraded kfir

That’s not how it works really. This aircraft only has 4 mounting point for the rails which can carry AAMs. All other hard points are specifically for mounting other ordinance types.
9 hardpoints, not 9 pylons.
It can carry an assortment of pylons on its multiple hard points, however the aircraft is only capable of mounting up to 4 LAU-7 Rails for AAM mounting purposes. This is similar to the Kfir C.7 the C.10 upgrade is based on, as it was upgraded to carry 4 AAMs as opposed to the predecessor Kfir C.2’s count of 4 AAMs.

Its 4 missiles, nothing more I’m afraid.

Well at least give us the python 4 :(

The book I shared with you the other day is quite reliable, they are Latin American sources, if it doesn’t say anything about more than 4 missiles or if there is no photo of more than 4 missiles then the answer is obvious

I pray they do. It never even used the Python 3 lmao.
