Kfir C.10 (B60) - The final upgrade

all good man, am not saying that the Python-4 is not an amazing missile and its not gonna shine being the most dangerous IR missile if its added, but seriously speaking and like i said before the Python-4 is the best of his generation (AAM-3, AIM-9M, R-73, MAGIC-2) people actually needs to assume that the Python-4 needs to come before we get the 9X, IRIS-T, ASRAAM, MICA-IR, PL-10 this missiles are more contenders of the Python-5. PS: and if the Python-4 comes a little bit gimped it would be ok because no matter what it would bring something new and different improving the combat efficiency of some jets specially the Baz Meshupar.

Shittttt. That rada’ is crazy

I guess Kfir C.10 Blk 60 would be 14.3 or 14.7 BR

If you give it proper launch parameters it pretty much is. But yea unflareable doesn’t fully exist I’ll admit, however this would be THE strongest IRCCM on an IR guided missile (Air to air wise, and helis and their missiles excluded :P) in the game at this point in time. Go ahead and try to flare some old fashioned Stingers rear aspect, wait actually also try some front aspect! You’ll find it’s quite hard… (when you don’t out pull them haha)

I mean this is a sense of comparison to any modern or comparable Fox-2 missile which tend to use thrust vectoring (Aim-9X, ASRAAM [apparently the ASRAAM doesn’t have thrust vectoring, which is surprising if you look at it and its control surfaces visually… I’ll need to read up on that], IRIS-T, R-73/R-73M, R-74/R-74M, PL-10, and MICA-IR) , which is known for bleeding speed at the expense of high AOA and tight turning circles. The Python 4 would have a decently hard time losing speed from turning or corse correction, but might have decently high drag with the large amount of control surfaces that gives it its large amount of lift/G-pull. The missile will be just as potent as any thrust vectoring IRCCM missile in a dogfight from what I’ve read, it should have quite high range compared to all the IR missiles we already have ingame (R-27ET excluded).

The ability for an IR missile to re-engage a target during a dogfight it quite huge (and any ARH missile is easily chaffed in dogfights or when attempting to destroy a target heading in the opposite direction from it) it’s something no other IR missile has ingame, and would be extremely potent at making any seemingly poorly made missile launch a probable kill. *there’s a reason the Aim-9X is so feared by the DCS (yes I know, muh DCS) community, that and the smokeless motor causing it to jumpscare people haha.

A potent IRCCM for a air to air missile nonetheless, it’s not Python 5 or late stinger levels of flare resistance, but frankly every aircraft ingame will probably have trouble flaring this thing rear aspect, and to an extent other aspects as well.

Oh yeah I’m aware. They gimped the poor thing and copy pasted the IRCCM from the Aim-9M (T-T)
I boi, I sure hope they don’t do that to the pythons as well…
(looks at Python 3 with Aim-9L seeker head)

Some of the later ones do indeed have better capabilities, there’s no denying that (especially LOAL). The Python 5 is definitely part of that group in that regard, but the Python 4 is more or less in between that era and the one we currently have in war thunder. I would personally say it’s comparable tot he first block of the Aim-9X and the AAM-3, however you’re right in the fact it’s quite… old and ineffective compared to some of the newer missiles it can find itself being compared too.

Indeed, however as I’ve made apparent, I fear it would be too strong (if gaijin doesn’t gimp it like the AAM-3). It’s ahead of its time and would be easily one of the strongest IR missiles on any aircraft ingame (aside for the R-27ET…)!
Gaijin could just nerf its IRCCM, or maybe G-pull, and it’s probably be fine…

But a missile with 70Gs of pull, a Smokeless Motor, (early) Stinger IRCCM, ability to re-engage targets, a medium range IR missile (essentially), self limiting thrust for an optimal turning circle, and extremely aerodynamic design that allows for high AOA and tight turns without using thrust vectoring of any kind…
(inhales for some air after that mouthful)
miiiiight be just a tab much for the game at this moment in time…
Hopefully that last bit got my point across a bit better…

Only 4 missiles, and 36 countermeasures. Its looking to be a 13.3 ish vehicle, especially if it comes without Python 4s…

If you’ve spent enough time on the internet, there are indeed individuals who are willing to lie or falsify things for some attention (cough cough doctored images such as the ones in the Kfir 2000 suggestion thread)

I have no doubt in my mind altering or copying some game files isn’t much of a moral line for them to cross…

All they have to do is give it the same radar as the American F-15C MSIP II so we can have a TWS mode and HMD radar locking and I’m sure it’ll all be fine.

Also allowing the Baz to have Derby’s on the outer wing pylons would be nice, as they’re much better than Aim-120s for dogfights or super close range snap shots. Just having two of them would be quite nice.

Kfir C.10 basic at 13.7 with Elta EL/M-2032 radar, armed 4x Python 3 & Python 4 and 4x Derby

I don’t want lack Python 4

Kfir C.10 Blk 60 armed 4 IR AAM & 4 active radar homing and small countermeasures like Kfir C.10 but fitted ELTA ELM-2052 AESA radar and enable Python 5

It’s true Kfir C.10 Blk 60 3rd gen airframe but advanced fire control radar, domestic israel precision-guided munition and IR AAM

I predict Kfir C.10 Blk 60 battle rating 14.7 higher 4th gen fighter with medium-range active radar homing missile but similar to lightweight 4++ gen fighter aircraft with AESA radar

Up to 72 countermeasures.

AFAIK it keeps the same countermeasures system as the previous Kfir variants, which means 36. Where did you get 72 from?

Well I see I ain’t changing your mind, but I guess this will age quite well when it does come…

Like man the max BR we have is 13.7 and the F-15C is literally better than it in almost every way my guy… why the hell do you think it would ever be 14.7???
(Also the “precision guided ordnance” won’t matter for Air RB)

I’ve seen pictures of a 2nd set of bucket.

Doesn’t Israel already have like 2?

Looking at one of the attached images, yes it does indeed appear as though the countermeasures count is doubled, however gaijin won’t accept images as sources. (There’s already a few faked/doctored images of the Kfir C10 out there, especially this exact variant. Not saying it’s fake, but we’ll need confirmation on this.)
We’ll need to find documentation proving the count is 72…
@Surbaissemaxxing I SUMMON THEE

The image you show

Indicates a larger amount of countermeasures than the previous variants of the Kfir, can you find any documentation relating to this? It would be HUGE if it can get double the CMs as sadly gaijin doesn’t tend to accept images as sources

That is one of the images yes.
I’ve seen about a dozen, one was claimed to be C12, others obviously C10.

This BTW was one of them.
Hard to photoshop moving video.

In my opinion, BR 14.3 (Air AB, Air RB & Air SB) because modern AESA radar better modern pulse doppler radar and Python 5 great flare resistance on 3rd gen fighter aircraft

This 3rd gen fighter aircraft similar to early 4+ gen fighter aircraft with AESA radar

Domestic israel precision-guided munition SPICE series very good for ground RB

Israel currently has:

The Kfir Canard at 11.3
(It has 2 Aim-9Gs and a Phantom engine, so quite powerful and potent at its BR)
The Kfir C.2 at 11.7
(Has larger Canards, a slightly worse engine, and 2 Python 3s/goofy Aim-9Ls)
The Kfir C.7 at 12.0
(Has the same bigger canards at the C.2, Has the best engine of all 3, and have 4x Python 3s/goofy Aim-9Ls)

The Kfir C.10 (block 60) is the variant proposed in this suggestion.
(It would have a Multimode AESA Radar, the previous variants don’t and only have a Radar rangefinder. It would have HMD, the Derby ARH missile, the *Python 4 (super nutty missile, would be the best air to air IR missile ingame) Laser Guided Bombs and a Targeting pod, a modern RWR, and much more I can’t think of off the top of my head.

It will not be getting the Python 5 when it arrives. I can guarantee you that.

I also have a feeling gaijin won’t model AESA for the time being… I think we even have a PESA radar on the Super Etendard ingame, yet it doesn’t function as such.

Yes, but that’s ground RB. Besides even if the plane only had those ordnance types I have a feeling that equates to about ~13.0 in ground RB or even lower. If it has split BRs this won’t matter in the slightest my friend.

Can you pretty plez gimme a link to that video :P
(It kinda looks like one of the promotional vids I came across once, but can’t quite tell.)

It’s the video in the OP’s post.
Last spoiler.

I read through ALL of OP’s initial post when I read

I see, I knew it was familiar haha

And yes I’ve read the entire post myself, however I skipped the video since when I played it, I realized I had seen it like 2 years ago when I was first researching the aircraft and its capabilities myself.

I also tend not to rely on/pay too much attention to images for info regarding capabilities, as the documentation is a much better/reliable source man.
