There is no reliable information on C10’s empty weight at this time as they’re claiming identical empty weight to C7 and that doesn’t seem correct initially. Who knows, maybe new wiring…
J-8F also has 58% more static thrust than the General Electric engine which aids in initial acceleration.
At super-low speed J-8F and C7 are effectively the same sustained. It’s only 550kph onward where J-8F goes further.
And time to climb J-8F succeeds.
It’s why I believe that C10 and J-8F are analogues.
Both derived from early 1960s airframes for a modern era.
I’m a bit confused, are you comparing a clean J-8F with a Kfir that has 4 Pythons and a Centerline tank? And where did you get the numbers for the ITR and STR?
Even then, we’d still have the Kfir C.12, Kfir C.10 (Ecuador), Kfir 2000, and Kfir C.10 Block 60.
I have a feeling that it’ll end up being a premium given the latest JA37Di addition. Fingers crossed we’ll get a TT equivalent to go along with it as with the Swedes.
honestly it could make an exellent first israeli squadron plane,it would be simiar to how the chinese got the jf-17,its br could sit comfortably at 13.0(due to its limited 4 missile carry load)
i suppose that kfir block 60 should be tech tree (it would have an elta aesa at it should sit at 13.3)then the kfir-2000 only armed with regular derbys and python 4s should also sit at the same br or 13.0 it would make a perfect top tier premium or squadron vehicle
The Kfir C.10 Block 60 has been confirmed by reliable leakers to be the next Aviation Event Vehicle this December. I’m stuck between being surprised that they chose the Block 60 over the normal C.10, and also being happy about seeing it finally coming to the game.
(There were plenty of other Kfir C.10 equivalents that could have been added instead of the Block 60, and I’m just left scratching my head at why they would chose that variant specifically.)
I wanted to take the time to ask you all what you think: Do you Think the Kfir Block 60 should be the next event vehicle?
Yes, The BLK 60 should be the next Israeli event vehicle.
No, they should chose a different Kfir Variant.
No, they should chose a different Israeli aircraft entirely.

If you believe it should be a different Kfir, which one would you prefer?
The Kfir TC.10 (Tandem seat modernized TC.7 variant to C.10 standards).
The Kfir C.12 / Kfir COA (Kfir C.7 modernized to Kfir C.10 standards, but it lacks the multimode radar and Derby)
The “Kfir 2000” (Israeli prototype Kfir C.2 upgraded to C.10 standards, Nigh Identical to the other C.10s but fully Israeli)
The Standard Kfir C.10 (In Colombian & Ecuadorian Service)
