Most important for the vehicle is an improvement of the spike. Firstly by being able to carry 4 instead of 2 and secondly by the option for a direct fire mode together with the option to change the angle of the launcher. Also, you would have to reduce the amount of vehicle you have to see to lock it. It should always be possible to lock on when the enemy is able to shoot at you.

You get driver kills with the spike? If I am lucky I might yellow a track. If they are stationary but move their turret any amount, I’ll only take out their barrel. If they are 100% stationary (afk) I can get a kill with the spike. I have only ever seen the APS work in ground RB ONCE. So I play it like a Centauro, except wait for an exposed side. There are SO many IFVs that could have been added for Italy, Centauro IFVs, Centauro SPG (Pegasus), DRACO, Italian ammunitions types in general for all Italian vehicles but more so specifically the OTOMATIC. The Mistral SiDAM is more of a joke when compared to other AA missiles in the game. Issues with the Ariete, the International Mangusta missing weapons systems and supposedly not correct gun, Hungarian helicopters intermixed with Italian helicopters. “Oh, well Italy didn’t have a whole lot would be difficult to flesh out the TT”, yet there are so many missing vehicles, many of which are nearly copy paste like the Italian M901 and plently of aircraft. I love Italy, I am fairly competent playing top tier, Italy suffers one of the most compressed TT in the game. Gaijin you add content that isn’t Italian when there is more than enough genuine Italian vehicles that could be added. So yeah, the KF41 is unplayable because it doesn’t work. So within the full calendar year, the only vehicle of any really worth while obtaining is the harrier. Copy paste for the Hungarian branch, and provide it to players in a nonfunctional state. Italy suffers not in the aspect of being bad, but in the aspect of the attention to detail and attention to implementation and testing, just isn’t there. Like it just ain’t right.
Agreed, I have all top tier vehicles for Italy but my lineup is just Centauro120, AV8 B and A129.
I mean, still use the KF41 in my lineup for top-tier because it is so tall, I can hide behind a large rock and spot enemies. Spotting still gets me decent respawn points and SL. F-16A ADF is fun for gaining air dominance, especially against annoying helicopters that are beyond the reach of my OTOMATIC and SiDAM mistral. I feel bad for people playing the Ariete AMV.

Arent those just basicaly the predecesors to the 2a7a1 ? Before they give us those an autocannon with APS system just seems more likely
The ATD was a further development of the Leopard 2 Revolution by Rheinmetall. The VT-ETB is a Trophy testbed.

yeah with one of the worst zoom, spike that doesn’t kill sam, and don’t even scratch tank. trully one of a kind heli, i personnaly just play fucking hellfire on it, its way better, so its just a A129CBT with a 39x zoom… at 11.7…
In my opinion, the QN-506, KF41, Freccia, Vilkas in the game are all rubbish, and the root of this is that missiles of the Spike type are almost completely inferior to conventional missiles, while Gaijin believes that the F&F is much more powerful than hand-guided missiles
kf41, the cannon uses the same cannon of the German 10.0 puma, and the missile uses the spike lr2 of the copy-paste spike mr, and only 2 shots, the armor is much worse than the puma, just having an APS that is almost incapable of resisting any common missiles, gaijin thinks it should be at 10.7.
All I can say is that the developers and planners probably never play their own games, or they are discriminating against Italy from the bottom of their hearts.
Gaijin seems to forget that “top attack” missiles attack the top of the tank, not loft to hit the dead middle (and most armored part) of the tank.
I’m just gonna mention that Vilkas came to the game with 2 spikes same as KF41.
Now Vilkas have 4 spikes staying at 10.3 while KF41 still have 2 spikes at 10.7. I mean…just WHY?

I personally enjoy playing KF41 but at this point it’s just unfair for Italian players.

Gaijin just cannot comprehend how the few remaining Italy mains that sticks to the tree from 4.0 to 12.0 gameplay are one of the most unshakable and mentally undefeatable players of the game.
Vilkas with unmanned turret and better mobility in 10.3
while KF41 with less survivability in 10.7
Not that Italy needs this one for the 10.3 line-up, but this thing is just way too uncompetitive in 10.7
Give the PUMA spikes and it looks better, even if it is moved to 10.7.
But using the CITV to launch missiles is not something the QN can do AFAIK, not sure about the vilkas. Still 2 SPIKEs are way too insufficient.
Spikes on Vilkas are useless. So I’d assume it’ll be the same with the Puma. Its not possible to hit targets in most situations, since maps are small and engagement ranges are too low. Spike always needs few 100m to work. But even then its just reliable to unaware helis and light vehicles. It just can’t kill MBTs, since it never hits the top of a tank, but slams into the front/side/rear armor…despite its high trajectory…at the end it falls short and hits one of the side armor arrays. For this its too weak.
It may be. However the PUMA has its launcher less elevated by default, so I suppose its not as good as the freccia but its going to be more flexible. I have a large amount of SPIKE kills even against the toughest MBTs, but on the other hand, the freccia is well, much better than the vilkas. It can literally spike at point blank as a panic launch and I killed a handful of leopard with it, and the autocannon which is better in every aspect against IFVs.
The SPIKEs are silly at close ranges but the launch angle of the vilkas is the real problem.
